• Masters or Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on controls, integration and automation
• 1-3 years experience in industry and/or R&D projects in the area of controls and IIOT (min. 5 years for Lead Research Engineer).
• Develop and program PLCs and other control systems, utilizing platforms like TwinCAT, EcoStruxure, Codesys and others.
• Ability to apprehend and/or interpret electrical circuit diagrams is a strong advantage
• Excellent technical presentation and writing skills
• Can-do attitude and able to work with different needs of various stakeholders
• Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems innovatively

Job Description:

CPPS group is seeking a highly motivated, independent and creative research engineer to deliver impactful and innovative AI-based digital technologies for predictive/prescriptive analytics and decision support. The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to translate problems faced by industry into opportunities to develop and deploy deep tech in AI.

The key roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Co-develop AI models to enhance and automate decision making
• Work with a team of scientist and engineers to execute deliverables for industry projects
• Engage companies to understand their challenges and translate to research collaborations in AI
• Contribute to research and development in Cyber-Physical Production System technologies, including technology development, live production environment test-bedding and technology transfer of robust algorithms to industry
• Understand autonomous manufacturing domain and provide innovative solutions to industry problems in this area
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 standards and concepts is an advantage

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
