This individual is responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources to meet customer order fulfillment. Responsible for production planning activities to optimize the manpower & material resources in meeting customers on-time delivery.

This incumbent manages all the production (after the BFS process) aspects of the company.

NATURE AND SCOPE

A. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

B. General Department Overview - responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources in meeting customer order fulfillment. And responsible for production planning activities to optimize manpower & material resources.

C. Areas of Responsibility –

• Manages manpower & packaging material resources to meet customer on time delivery
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production packing employees
• Manages production planning activities to optimize resources in meeting customer order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with other departmental heads in meeting common Company’s objectives
• Prepare cost and budgets to ensure workflow meets Company’s objectives
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and Company’s objectives
• Ensure accurate inventory control in the production shop floor
• Ensure safe & proper housekeeping in the production shop floor
• Drive continuous improvement in the production packaging related processes
• Ensure compliance to ISO procedures, GMP, quality standards and all other regulatory requirements including safety precautions.
• Reporting to top management on production metrics
• Undertakes to carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior / management

D. Challenges of Position – This position requires knowledge and experience in managing a team of production workers; and in production planning & scheduling activities

E. Communication Network – The incumbent requires excellent clear communication skills to work closely with both internal and external customers and to manage a team of production workers.

F. Measurement – The incumbent will be measured on:

1. Timely & accurate planning & scheduling of orders
2. On-time customer order fulfillment

G. Requirements – Diploma / Degree in Production Management or equivalent with good written and verbal communication skills. SAP knowledge will be an advantage

Position : Production Operator

Work Location : Tuas

Working Day : 12 hrs shift

Production operator is a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality battery products. While specific responsibilities may vary, typical duties include:

· Operating Machinery: Setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery and equipment according to established procedures to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

· Monitoring Production Processes: Overseeing the production line, ensuring that machinery functions properly, and making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and meet production targets.

· Quality Assurance: Inspecting finished products for defects, conducting quality testing, and ensuring that products meet Energizer's quality standards before packaging and shipment.

· Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and participating in safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.

· Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and reporting significant problems to supervisors to minimize downtime.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of production outputs, equipment status, and any issues encountered, and preparing reports as required to support operational efficienct

Follow established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards. Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Set up and operate machines to start a production cycle

Ø Perform Machine maintenance

Ø Perform Visual Inspection/THT Printing/Packing

Ø Material handling

Ø Perform 5S Housekeeping

Ø Any other assignments as assigned by Performance Facilitator

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ø Able to handle multi-tasking of processes as and when allocated

Ø Able to understand and follow instruction/procedure

Ø Basic computer knowledge

Ø Good team player

Ø Good working attitude and willing to learn

Food Processing Supervisor.

Familiar with factory frozen food production (Fish products).

Must have at least three years of similar working experience.

Permanently night shift.

Must have leadership quality.

Must have good time management to ensure smooth chain operations ie. from factory to outlets.
