RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the studios are in order, including studio set, equipment to ensure a smooth production of the News & Current Affairs programmes for CNA and all news bulletins transmission on Mediacorp channels.
• Assist Automation Directors on all responsibilities for the execution of daily news bulletins and current affairs programmes for both automated and traditional galleries.

Overview: -

Your Responsibilities: -

• Oversee and assist the program manager to oversee the project to ensure product deliver is within the stipulated time.
• Manage existing clients and liaise with them on the project schedule.
• Liaise with client regarding product specification & requirements, cost, quality of a project and provide a quotation on it.
• Coordinate with internal team member (tool designer and engineering on design for manufacturing (DFM) to ensure the product created meet client expectation.

You will need: -

• Manufacturing / Manufacturing Design industry experience will be a plus
• Able to read AUTOCAD drawing

Our Ads QA team focus on the quality assurance of the whole ads-system, including AD manager, delivery system, review system, conversion measurement and etc. We aim to improve the usability, reliability, stability of the whole system and user experience through project testing, automation testing, CI/CD system construction, test tool construction and etc. We are looking for people who have good business sense and testing/CICD/automation experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the architecture design and development of testing tools, quality platforms, engineering efficiency, DevOps, and related systems for international advertising business;

- Liaise with various business lines to understand their needs, optimize and innovate tool platforms, and enhance the quality and efficiency of business testing;

- Conduct research on development efficiency, identify efficiency bottlenecks, and provide systematic improvement solutions to enhance development efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with 2+ years of development experience;

- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and familiar with the principles and usage of databases and middleware such as MySQL, Redis, and MQ;

- Familiar with the development process, understanding of efficiency measurement, built-in quality, CI/CD, and stability assurance practices;

- Strong team collaboration skills, good communication skills, a sense of responsibility, proactive, and a passion for researching and applying new technologies.

Broadcast Audio Engineer

Working Days & Hours: 5 Day | Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm

Working Location: Changi South
Salary Range: $6000 - $10000 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Engineering Manager with all technical tasks to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• Review the operations of the Engineering Department to ensure the quality of broadcast operations meet industry standards.
• Remain up-to-date with outdoor broadcast technology and equipment.
• Guide the Assistant / Trainee Engineers to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and plan for their training where needed.
• Ensure procedure for video equipment testing and preparation is in place.
• Ensure adequate processes are in place for communication / escalation of technical related problems that arise during a project.
• Keep Engineering environment (Warehouse, Engineering Room and desks) clean, functional, safe and presentable.
• Ensure compliance of engineering procedures with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Work with Head of Engineering to improve and test system designs.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance of specific categories of broadcast equipment to ensure the equipment are fully functional and well maintained (internally and externally clean/dust-free).
• Monitor physical and technical quality and appearance of broadcast equipment. Prepare the maintenance & improvement report.
• Plan and maintain a list of specific categories of broadcast equipment which require scheduled maintenance.

Job Requirement:

• Degree or diploma and aptitude relevant to Broadcast Engineering (specializing in Broadcast Engineering / Audio Engineering / IT or any other related area).
• Safety Knowledge: Good knowledge of the principles of safety at work as applied in the TV industry.
• Understanding of OB Systems: Understanding of Outside Broadcast systems and environment.
• Knowledge and experience of operating and troubleshooting a range of OB equipment in sound, communication, IP, etc.
• Minimum 3-8 years of work experience in Outside Broadcast Environment.
• Event Experience: Experience with large scale events is necessary.
