Job Summary

You will independently manage the full spectrum of human resource functions, execute functions required of an office administrator, and be in-charge of correct and on-time payroll processing for all Group companies including in the Singapore construction sector and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Processing all work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, home leave and visas
• Processing monthly payroll for all employees
• Supporting bonus pay-outs and salary increment processes
• Managing employee leave, medical, insurance and travel claims
• Renewing and procuring all business approvals and licences and insurances renewals
• Keeping abreast and ensuring employment laws compliance
• Managing hiring and termination
• Managing compensation and benefits including performance management
• Managing learning and development for employees
• Managing tax implications for employees in international businesses
• Booking flights and accommodation for employees
• Completing personal assistant tasks as may be required by Management
• Performing adhoc duties as required

Requirements

• Possess at least 5 years’ experience in HR for Construction Sector companies
• Able to work independently and is a good team player who possess drive and initiative
• Well-organised and meticulous
• Good people and communication skills with ability to interact with people of all levels

We are looking for individuals with positive and outgoing personality willing to take up our front line customer service position. You will be working in the front line providing quality service to customers, handling their transactions and responding to their queries. Your responsibilities will include:

• Attend to customers’ requirements, feedback and complaints in an efficient and service-oriented manner via front desk service, phone and internet enquiries
• Effectively explaining company policies and services to customers
• Handle day-to-day operational duties of the school, which includes but are not limited to fees transactions
• Perform basic accounting and reporting duties
• Perform general administrative duties
• Perform the above duties as part of the customer service team

Requisites

• Strong interest in customer service and relationship-building
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of spoken and written English
• Highly responsible, organized and able to multi-task and work independently
• Preferred applicant with diploma in customer service but any diploma holder may apply
• Fresh graduates may apply but customer service experience will be an added advantage
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• MUST work weekday evenings
• MUST work shift and weekends (BOTH Saturdays and Sundays)
• Actual monthly remuneration will depend on the actual designation and background of applicant

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits quotations for ship repairs / modifications works
• Follow up of vessels from specific market segments / countries
• Study ship repair specifications to understand Owner's requirement in order to prepare competitive quotation
• Attends ship inspections / discussions with Owner's representative(s) of the work scope in yard, local or overseas when required
• Meets and discusses with subcontractors to obtain better prices
• Acquires information from the Project Team for any additional works requirement
• Follows up with Owners after submission of quotation for the selected vessels
• Entertains Owners / Superintendents when they are in yard
• Attends sales discussions, tender clarifications for sales follow up
• Makes sales calls on specific market segments

Job Requirement

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, Offshore, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or its equivalent
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience in similar capacity and industry
• Sound technical knowledge for the relevant trades
• Resourceful, responsible, good negotiation skill and interpersonal skills, committed, team player, customer oriented
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Able to perform overtime during weekdays, weekends and Public Holiday as and when required
• Willing to travel overseas to Client's Office as and when required
