Overview

We need a skilled accounts executive to join our team to help handle full sets of accounts for our Singapore and overseas accounting operations. Experience in FMCG, retail, F&B, manufacturing would be very advantageous for this role. The ideal candidate possesses strong multi-tasking skills, is a fast learner and is highly attentive to detail. For this position, you will need to have the ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment and be proficient with Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, intercompany charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance
Manage month-end closing process and ensure all month-end journals, AP and AR sections are closed promptly
Perform internet banking and monthly bank reconciliation
Prepare monthly financial statements for management reporting
Prepare and review all balance sheet schedules to its control accounts including bank reconciliations
Prepare accounts payable and periodic reconciliation of vendors' statement of accounts
Handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings (e.g. GST,VAT)
Assist in year-end audit and the preparation of audit schedules, including liaising with auditors and tax agents as required
Coordinate and liaise with overseas parties, bankers, external auditors and tax agent
Provide feedback on workflow process improvements
Support and perform ad-hoc tasks when required
Support the implementation of new processes and systems

Minimum LCCI/CAT qualifications or equivalent with at least 5 years experience
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Able to work independently while maintaining a strong team spirit
Dependable, responsible, driven, and possess a positive working attitude
Possess initiative and able to organize and prioritize work
Able to multitask, and is meticulous with an eye for details
Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
