Position Overview:

A Logistic Executive in a warehouse setting plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the efficient flow of goods, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This position requires flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and night shifts as needed to meet the demands of the logistics and supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Warehouse Operations:

• Manage and coordinate various warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.

2.Loading and Unloading:

• Perform and supervise loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring proper handling, stacking, and securing of products to prevent damage and ensure safety.

3.Inventory Control:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report any discrepancies to the management.

4.Order Fulfillment:

• Efficiently process customer orders, including picking products, packing them securely, and arranging for timely shipments.

5.Quality Control:

• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and report any issues or damages immediately.

6.Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.

7.Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure that warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, are well-maintained and report any equipment issues for repair.

8.Safety and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment.

9.Weekend, Public Holiday, and Night Shift Work:

• Be available and prepared to work on weekends, public holidays, and night shifts as required by the warehouse's operational schedule.

10.Team Leadership:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and managing workloads effectively.

11.Communication:

• Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries.

12.Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations and logistics, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• To handle the physical demands of loading and unloading heavy goods.
• Forklift Certification: A valid forklift operator's certification may be required.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organization and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory control and quality assurance.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse staff effectively.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work during weekends, public holidays, and night shifts to meet operational requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Information Technology (IT) Executive is responsible for providing support to the Head, Information Technology, and IT department in managing the company’s day-to-day IT systems and networks. This position requires a technically savvy individual who is extremely well organized and adept at communicating with stakeholders across the organization.

- Serve as project coordinator and point of contact for the IT department, fielding requests, organizing schedules, maintaining filing systems, and developing administrative process improvements

- Manage hardware ordering process and coordinate inventory of IT assets

- Coordinate contracts with vendors and suppliers, including managing invoicing

- Manage the monitoring of hosting servers for websites and emails and the renewals of domains.

- Have knowledge in setting up and troubleshooting domains, sub domains and emails

- Have basic knowledge on WordPress and its plugins.

- Familiarise social media platforms (Tiktok Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google Ads , others) and Search Engine Optimisation (Optional)

- Perform systems administration functions for designated information systems / technologies

- Provide project coordination assistance with special projects and any other duties as assigned by Head, IT

- Manage procurement of inventory including documenting all equipment assigned to staff members

- Potentially need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice

- Provide direct, over the phone or remote troubleshooting of end-user desktop, equipment, application, device communication and connectivity issues in a timely fashion

- Familiarize and assist end-users on basic software, hardware and peripheral device operation and use

- Manage time efficiently and effectively; set priorities appropriately and schedule calls

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional demeanour stress

- Good team player and able to operate within customer support standard and operating procedures
