THE ROLE

We are seeking a Finance Executive with strong analytical skills and accounting functions to be part of our dynamic business. In this role, you will be pivotal in facilitating financial operations, ensuring timely execution and business continuity through close partnership across key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payables and ensure payments are processed in accordance to accounting guidelines, standards and GST regulations
• Handle accounts receivables, prepares AR aging report and manage AR collection
• Handle staff reimbursements based on expense claims policy
• Preparation of invoice, payment vouchers, cheques and GIRO transactions;
• Handle reconciliations including bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Support annual financial audit requirements
• Liaise with relevant departments & external stakeholders relating to AP/AR matters;
• Support process streamlining, creation and maintenance of process documentations
• Any other adhoc duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Candidate should ideally possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA, CAT or any equivalent qualifications
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Experience in computerized accounting environment, preferably ERP accounting software
• Proficient in MS office applications especially in Excel
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Meticulous, adaptable, and resilient - Comfortable working in a high velocity startup environment
• Results-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision and ambiguity

Job Description:
- Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system
- Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis
- Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on timely basis
- Handle accounts receivables and accounts payables
- Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules
- Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose
- Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
- Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing
- Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing
- Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)
- Liaising with external auditor
- Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;
- Proactive and committed to meet deadline;
- Pleasant personality and organised.
- At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.
- Experience of auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage.
- Experience of usage of Quickbooks, Xero, SAGE will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage the organizations purchasing needs for indirect materials, including equipment, machinery parts, fabrication parts, and services like calibration or modifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating for optimal pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Act as the main liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle daily procurement operations, including issuing purchase orders (POs), tracking shipments, and monitoring delivery schedules.
• Evaluate, review, and manage supplier performance, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly cost-saving reports.
• Source and assess potential suppliers to expand the supplier base.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of procurement experience, particularly in purchasing machinery and parts, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of RPA or Power BI is a bonus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,200 + AWS +VB (2 - 3 Months)
