The Pathways Manager (PM) will be a suitable qualified and experienced person who will work closely with the CEO of the Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) in carrying out the youth development and sport participation plans. These would form part of the multi-year sport plan for the developing the sport of Basketball. Most importantly, the Pathways Manager must be able to work with the schools, institutions, IHLs, youth coaches, youth athletes, community and grassroots mass participation partners to curate the pathways development plan to achieve success at various development level.

The Pathways Manager must be able to reach out to the sport participation stakeholders, sieve out talented youth players and ensure that these talented youth players are getting good quality daily training environment as much as possible. The Pathways Manager will also be in charge of organising tournaments, or leagues, to provide sport participation competitions opportunities for pathways development.

The Pathways Manager must therefore have experience or clear understanding in sport development, sport management, sport events organising, and competent in pathways development leading towards high-performance sport environment. In this pivotal role, you will provide overall operational management, direction, and leadership for our Specialist Outpatient Clinics, supporting the hospital’s operational readiness, activation, and transition (ORAT) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall operational management and leadership for Specialist Outpatient Clinics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop operational models and workflows aligned with the hospital’s service and care model.
• Co-develop workflow simulations based on various scenarios to test new models virtually and with physical prototypes in the Healthcare Living Lab.
• Plan resource requirements for nesting, hospital pre-operations, and ramp-up phases.
• Manage manpower planning, staff recruitment, and training prior to the hospital’s opening.
• Oversee all operational, manpower, and administrative matters under the purview of Specialist Outpatient Clinics post-opening.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a managerial capacity managing hospital operations in an acute hospital outpatient clinic setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation with multi-generational staff.
