SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:
This position is required to develop the Kajima Overseas Asia (hereinafter “KOA”) Group’s marketing plan and its action plan, which would be the basis of the Group’s business planning and implement them to daily operations in order to achieve the annual goals for new sales.
The General Manager / Business Development needs also to manage and oversee all marketing and business development activities in cooperation with the KOA Group companies by utilizing Kajima Group internal resources and external relationships.
REPORTING to: Managing Director of Kajima Overseas Asia Pte Ltd. (“KOA”)
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervise and manage the marketing activities of the KOA Group which is covering the region: Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India and Myanmar.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve KOA Group’s objectives and sales targets.
· Lead, motivate, support, and manage the sales team of KOA Group companies, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and effectiveness.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, clients’ representatives and so forth to drive business growth and maximize sales opportunities.
· Develop retention strategies for clients, architects, engineers, clients’ representatives and so forth.
· Analyze competitors’ trends, and client feedback to identify opportunities for acquisition and improvement.
· Collaborate with other departments such as the Building Construction Department of KOA, the KOA Group companies and the Kajima Development Group to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
· Collaborate with Kajima Corporation in Japan and its other subsidiaries in USA, Europe, Australia, China and Taiwan to expand the business of the Kajima Corporation Group.
· Develop and monitor sales performance metrics based on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement for the KOA Group companies.
· Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and opportunities to drive sales conversions.
· Represent the KOA Group at meetings, conferences, conventions, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and establish partnerships.
· Meet with prospective, existing clients, and other key individuals, companies, organizations related to specific projects.
· Develop and implement a brand strategy to enhance the KOA Group's value and competitive advantage.
· Responsible for personnel composition of KOA Business Development Group and its personnel matters.
· Responsible for carrying out regular and irregular reporting duties related to marketing and business development of the KOA Group.
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
· University bachelor’s degree or higher degree of Commerce, Economics, Law or Business Administration
· License of Real Estate Brokers or equivalent certification
· Basic knowledge of construction accounting
· At least 15 years of experience in the business development and marketing areas of construction or real estate business
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other general software
· Japanese skill: at Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 1 or equivalent level
OTHERS:
· Business Trips are required: Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Myanmar or other countries where MD of KOA requested
