We’re looking to add a Manager (Group Finance) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.
As a Manager (Group Finance), you will:
Report directly to the Senior Finance Manager , you are required to perform management analysis of the group against forecast/budget and review of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and working capital. Involve in Group quarterly result review and prepare materials for board meetings. Work with Department Head, Business Finance and Business Leader to drive annual budget. You will be a finance business partner to the Senior Management team on all financial issues, including evaluation of potential business opportunities and manage a range of ad-hoc projects.
Financial Reporting & FP&A
- Responsible for the monthly review of the group’s performance with effective analysis of the income statement including revenue, gross margins and cost management.
- Responsible for financial tracking, forecasting and review of the group’s performance against approved financial plan.
- Support benchmarking of the group’s financial, operational and working capital metrics to drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations.
- Liaise with external consultant and business finance to drive Group Goodwill impairment assessment
- Support Group employee share options and restricted shares valuation
- Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
- Ensure timely management reporting, forecasting and analysis.
- Work with management and business leaders to drive group’s annual budgeting exercise.
- Involve in Group Finance’s system digitalization and transformation initiatives
- Review relevant finance processes and workflow for improvement, streamlining and harmonization
Team Management
- Motivate and lead the staff in enhancing their skills and capabilities.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
- Possess a Degree in Accountancy / Professional qualification with ACCA / CIMA / CPA.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
- With at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a management reporting at managerial capacity, relevant Group Financials experience in a SGX listed company.
- SAP or other ERP system knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Possess strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently.
- Mature and strong team player with ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good presentation skills.
- Hands-on, meticulous, resourceful, positive and energetic with initiative and excellent motivational skills.
- Good leadership qualities, ambitious and go-getter attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
