Job Requirements:

- Diploma with Engineering Chemical or Chemistry background will be advantage

- At least 1-2 years manufacturing work experience required

- Independent thinker who acts and decides objectively and with integrity

- Willing to learn new things and hands on

- Excellent communication so as to provide training and coaching to team member and also to handle queries from clients/associates

- ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 knowledge will be advantage

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm

Machine Operation:

• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery (e.g., saws, drills, sanders, routers, planers, etc.)
• Set up and calibrate machines based on production requirements and design specifications
• Monitor machine operation to ensure high-quality, consistent output

Carpentry Production:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce precise wood products
• Measure and cut wood pieces to specified sizes and shapes
• Assemble wooden components into finished products using appropriate tools, fasteners, and adhesives

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards

Material Handling:

• Ensure that raw materials are readily available for production and efficiently used to minimize waste
• Organize and maintain materials for future production need

Maintenance and Safety:

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of woodworking tools and machinery to ensure they remain in optimal working condition
• Report machine malfunctions or required repairs to supervisors or maintenance teams

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, design teams, and quality control to ensure product specifications and requirements are met
• Follow instructions and feedback from supervisors regarding any adjustments to work processes or materials

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Chinese and English. (The machine and system are in Chinese, require to coordinate with China)
• Can read 2D, 3D drawing
• 5 days Work Week

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead Operation plans and processes to optimize manufacturing Operations.

· Responsible for Plant operations and performance in accordance with production goals

· Technical Leadership in Production workforce for plant operation, optimization & Troubleshooting

· Coach & Guide for field and console operators reporting to Production Manager

· Cross function collaborations with Maintenance, Project, Reliability Technical- Technology and HSE functions to troubleshoot Petrochemical Manufacturing Site

· Lead the Operating Procedure development and Plant improvement activities.

· Lead plant related risk assessment and compliance of Safe operating work practices

· Hire, Train, Develop, Inspire and Coach the Production team.

· Lead emergency response, Crisis Management plan

· Provide guidance of shift team during plant troubleshooting, Start-ups/ Shutdowns / Turn arounds

· Capable to identify, develop and implement improvements / changes in the Plant.

· Lead Production ideas for improving Profitability, safety, reliability of facilities.

· Process Safety Champion for Operations; MOC/PSSR leadership

· To fill in for Production Manager during his/her absence

Key Requirements:

· Degree in Engineering (Chemical or other equivalent) with least 8-10 years of experience in Petrochemical, Refining Manufacturing facilities.

· Production Experience in Rubber, Polymer or Petrochemical plants will be preferred.

· Experience as Team Lead of Shift Teams

· Excellent Leadership, Planning & Problem-Solving skills.

· Advance Coaching & Mentoring Skill to technician and Undergraduates

· Preferred Experience of Green Field Start-up, Operating Procedure development

· Effective written & verbal communication skills

· Knowledge of Singapore Regulations & Industry HSE practices & Process Safety Basics

· Prior experience in Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, and continual improvement programs are preferred.
