This role will involve working alongside and providing support to the Worship & Music team and Pastors in the church in the planning and organising, implementation and ensuring the smooth running of the services, events, trainings and activities in the Worship & Music ministry.

• Ensure that the Altar Books in the relevant worship venues are updated with the correct Great Thanksgiving at each Communion Service
• Maintain the stock of Holy Communion elements, including ordering, checking for expiry, and storing in a reverent manner elements that have been consecrated
• Prepare the Holy Communion elements in the trays and ensure that they are brought to their respective worship venues each week
• Liaise with relevant 3rd parties for special offerings (including getting slides/videos from them)
• Submit song reports to CCLI
• Record minutes for the Service Team Meetings and W&M Staff Team Minutes

B) Worship Services

• Roster ushers for all regular English services at the Barker Road campus, including special services
• Roster Communion Assistants for all regular English services at the Barker Road campus, including special services as required
• Brief Communion Assistants on the process and procedure for serving Holy Communion
• Assign Communion Assistants to their stations at each worship venue
• Support the pastors’ office in ad-hoc activities including special services, baptism interviews, and staff devotions

C) Floral Ministry

• Serve as liaison with the floral ministry
• Support the implementation of tools, courses, materials, and technologies
• Provide inputs and feedback on the general spiritual health of the ministry (including its volunteers), based on observations made during the course of work

• Cultivate, grow and deepen Control Risks’ relationships with security and risk buyers in our Client organisations, being seen as their “go to” person within Control Risks.
• Identify, nurture and help win new business development opportunities.
• Actively lead on business continuity and crisis management projects from first client enquiry to proposal development, task servicing, quality assurance and project closure
• Project manage and, utilising a regional team of consultants and experts, deliver the full range of security consulting and services engagements in Southeast Asia and across Asia broadly, when required.
• Deliver consultancy services to clients by developing innovative solutions to complex risks. You will be responsible for scoping and delivering across a broad range of business risk activities, including crisis management and business continuity workshops, audits, gap analyses and risk assessments
• Provide mentorship to junior staff, maximising use of resources. Ensure continuous skills transfer, coaching and planning is provided.
• Work collaboratively with country management, marketing teams and other practises to develop a consistent, credible and highly visible brand.
• Represent Control Risks as a thought leader through market engagement via channels such as social media, professional organizations and industry events.
• Seek innovative ways to improve services we offer to clients.
• Ensure that practices, polices, strategy and services represent the client best interest.

Essential:

• Experience in a corporate/consulting environment working with multinational companies in Singapore specifically, and across SEA generally
• Strong commercial expertise, analytical (financial management, legal and contractual skills), leadership
• Ability to build relationships with senior-level clients and other consultants globally
• Experience in a multi-cultural environment and demonstrated cross-cultural awareness
• In depth knowledge of commercial/operational conditions across South Asia

Preferred:

• Experience in one or more of the following: business continuity, crisis management, risk assessment following recognized international standards, security planning and framework development
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience managing crises and/or complex problems
• Demonstrable experience in applying risk management methodology such as (ISO 22301, ISO31000, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• MANAGE THE DAILY GUEST SERVICES OPERATIONS: CONCIERGE, BELL SERVICE, DOOR SERVICE, PARKING VALET, NIGHT RUNNERS

• Leading the direction and supervision of all Guest Services duties are performed and maintained in accordance with the hotel’s standards and in line with hotels’ strategic plan
• Manpower planning, recruitment, training, deployment
• Liaison between Front Office departments and rest of hotel for effective guest experience
• Develop, implement, evaluate, review and conduct training and audits in accordance with the hotels’ overall training and development plan

• MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP OF THE GUEST SERVICES TEAM
  • Handles capital and asset planning, requisition
  • Responsible for budgeting, planning and forecasting of yearly and monthly revenue and expenditure for areas of responsibility
  • Identify equipment and supplies needs and negotiate with vendors for the best quality at competitive pricing
  • Responsible for issuing, monitoring and negotiating all contracts, agreements and billings involving the department’s areas of responsibility
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, reviewing and conducting training & CCTV audits in accordance with the hotels’ overall training and service development plan
  • Prepare, review and revisit procedures and training manuals for all levels of colleagues and to be in line with the hotels ‘operating standards
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, counseling and disciplining sessions with colleagues
  • Handles Guest Services inventory control system
  • Ensure that safety, health and security policies and procedures are adhered to in areas of responsibility
  • Coordinate and conduct bi-monthly department, concierge and officers’ meetings to update colleagues on hotels’ objectives, performance and goals
  • Coordinate, conduct and attend all other necessary meetings as and when required

  • Presence in the driveway and lobby area at critical guest flow time
  • Ensure lobby and driveway are well managed in accordance to activities and traffic patterns
  • Investigate on service failures followed by service recovery and corrective actions to prevent future occurrence
  • Recommend, justify, coordinate and implement hotel projects in relation to process improvements
  • Use Quality Management systems to monitor and improve speed of response time and review progress
  • Review and analyze trend in guests’ needs and recommend operational changes, if needed to improve guest satisfaction and colleagues productivity
  • Develop departmental Reward & Recognition programme to recognize individuals and teams for exemplary behavior and outstanding achievements in department

• INVOLVEMENT AS A MEMBER OF THE HOTEL LEADERSHIP TEAM
  • Ensure cleanliness and appearance of lobby and related areas
  • Hands-on knowledge of computer hardware and software to manage systems and generate reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Capable of planning, defining, co-ordination and managing a service delivery system utilizing human resources, tools, data and service standards
