The Role:

The Director, Evidence & Policy is a leadership role within the APLMA Secretariat, responsible for guiding Secretariat’s work to raise the visibility of the malaria elimination effort in Asia Pacific through strategic, evidence-based policy documentation efforts. The Director will ensure the organization's policy positions are well-informed, insightful, and impactful; and will lead projects and teams working on analysis and document generation. The role will provide oversight to a team working to develop briefs, white papers, case studies, peer -reviewed documentation, Op Eds, and other policy and advocacy materials. The Director will also draw upon important work being done to generate evidence new in the region by a range of institutions and partners working to generate new insights on malaria in the Asia Pacific Region that can leveraged for advocacy.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Management

• Oversee the development and execution of the Secretariat’s evidence, insights, and policy efforts which include the development of key policy related outputs such as policy briefs, case studies, blogs, white papers, and peer-reviewed policy papers, and other reports
• Lead and manage the Evidence, Insights and Policy team to proactively engage with the APLMA Dashboard and ensure elevation of key insights, identifying priority issues for elevation, and align them with the APLMA Secretariat’s organizational strategy and goal

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Master's degree in public health, policy, development, or business administration
• Candidates with Doctorate degree will have an added advantage
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in policy and advocacy work in global heath & development
• Experience working with Governments and/or key bi- & multilateral agencies, preferably in the Asia Pacific region
• Experience in the use of data analytics and in leading evidence generation strategies for health policy development

NES Fircroft has partnered up with our client, a well renowned company in the cladding industry and we are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Group Fabrication Director to lead and manage fabrication operations across multiple facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and operation of industrial plants, driving innovation and efficiency in fabrication processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the fabrication design, construction, and operational activities for multiple industrial plants, ensuring they meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Ensure efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement in fabrication processes to optimize productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement advanced engineering solutions and best practices to enhance fabrication operations and reduce overall project costs.
• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams, including fabrication engineers, project managers, and plant operations staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, design teams, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project execution.
• Oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and sustainability.
• Identify and mitigate fabrication and construction project risks through proactive management strategies.
• Drive innovation by incorporating new materials, technologies, and automation into fabrication processes.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in fabrication, construction, and industrial plant operations, with a proven record of leading large-scale projects.
• Expertise in fabrication processes, production optimization, and project management.
• Strong leadership experience in managing diverse engineering and fabrication teams.
• Solid knowledge of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Exceptional problem-solving, innovation, and communication skills.
