Our Ideal Candidate

• The role holder will have significant experience in OTCR management within the Banking industry, including relevant regulation and industry trends. In particular, the role holder will demonstrate:
• A rigorous and analytical approach to risk management
• Experience of business partnering, including the ability to synthesise and articulate complex and technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community.
• Specific strong competence in the use of Excel for analysis of complex data and PowerPoint for communication purposes.
• Ideally the role holder will have specific experience of OTCR frameworks and have an in-depth knowledge of some of the key organisational and operational challenges faced by a Second-Line Risk function. Further, for this Advisory role they should be able to have:
• Strong knowledge of the businesses, markets and operations of Standard Chartered Bank and the policies, procedures, and processes through which OTCR are addressed throughout the Group, with specific knowledge in Change Governance risks.
• Ability to represent the Bank with external stakeholders via Industry Forums and at key Regulatory meetings, as required.
• ​​​​​​​Ability to assess priorities and focus on detailed aspects of SME function to drive effective delivery.
• Excellent analytical skills: ability to think clearly and rigorously about how best to assess existing and emerging risks and readiness, being able to reach a pragmatic approach and direction.
• Experience of identifying risks (both existing and emerging), advising on mitigation actions, and reaching agreement with stakeholders on the management of risks and issues.
• Sound judgement and anticipation and strong integrity, independence, and resilience
• Ability to translate regulatory into business requirements for change programmes.

JOB SUMMARY

The role of Associate Director for Retail is responsible for driving sales growth by managing relationships with intermediary/distribution partners, delivering service excellence leveraging on the company’s capabilities and market insights to meet/exceed FUM and flows target. This role requires the individual to be a team-player and has a goal-oriented positive mindset, empathy, confidence, adaptability, proactivity, integrity, resilience, strong communication skills and passion to develop business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Actively participate and assist the head of department (HOD) to develop the organisation’s distribution strategy
• Execute the organisation’s intermediary distribution strategy in Singapore as part of group strategy
• Drive sales, FUM and revenue growth for organisation’s distribution business
• Able to work independently to expand distribution network, deepen relationships and drive new sales flows
• Implement effective sales and servicing strategy to ensure high customer satisfaction level
• Work closely with Client Servicing Team to deliver service excellence to clients and partners and to assist with customer due diligence to ensure fulfilment of regulatory obligations and relevant company policies
• Work closely with Marketing Team and Client Portfolio Managers (CPM) to develop high quality marketing and sales materials which demonstrate Eastspring's credibility
• Work with Product Team to strategise on developing products suited for group distribution business

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with the company's mission and vision to drive innovation and operational excellence.

· Oversee all Engineering and Manufacturing Operations, including Product Development, Design, Testing, and Manufacturing Processes, ensuring compliance with Aviation industry Standards and Regulatory requirements.

· Liaise with clients and suppliers on the specifications of the required products.

· Keep abreast of design engineering trends and cutting-edge technologies in the relevant fields.

· Assess designs in terms of their workability, feasibility and costs.

· Comply with safety standards and ethical issues arising.

· Maintain documentation and engineering records on all products.

· Establish a work schedule and framework for the work contributions of different departments for a smooth and seamless collaboration

Qualifications:

· Diploma or higher in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering leadership roles, preferably within the Aerospace or Manufacturing or Industry.

· Strong understanding of Engineering principles, Manufacturing Processes, and Quality Standards (e.g. AS9100, ISO9001, … etc.).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and operational efficiency.

· Proven expertise in Product Development, Process Improvement, and Project Management.

· Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
