What to expect

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Art Director at Culture Collective. This role is located in Singapore with hybrid work.

Role

The Art Director (AD) is responsible for helping to derive creative concepts and for directing the visual elements of the creative work product from start to finish – generating unique, engaging, and fresh representations for every creative brief.

Having confidence in their skills/stylistic approach and the drive to create new, exciting, and provocative visual experiences, Art Directors work with the design team to solve any creative brief from unique vantage points, often yielding breakthrough work for their clients. The AD creates and then maintains the visual look for all of the work on an account, making sure the project is visually engaging and the selling message is clear, strategically sound, and on brand. Within the media realm, the AD will execute the artistic direction and/or work with other team members to bring the vision for the project to life.

They must be strong team players and self-sufficient multi-taskers, full of original approaches and innovative ideas, working alongside visual designers, experience designers, developers, creative directors, etc. Colleagues should be able to trust her/him to act as a confident representative of the team and the work.

An Art Director should possess the ability to work with clients in different industries, adeptly presenting visual executions and concepts in person or other means of communication. They must be able to work comfortably with people from different creative disciplines and with different creative teams. Overview of job

The Market lead will be responsible to:

• Proactively planning and implementing digital development and growth of the client
• Developing strategy and digital channel recommendations to ensure we deliver as per the set targets
• Working with the team on the mid-year and annual strategy to achieve the desired KPIs for the business
• Deliver innovative and Creative solutions to media briefs
• Ensuring delivery of a digital solution which is relevant to the client’s business by fine tuning budget allocation, weights, phasing, site mix with creation of the media plan
• Be on top of in-campaign performance, and recommend changes in-flight to deliver the best against the plan
• Identify opportunities and new interests for the client to drive revenue and benefit business needs as their advisor.
• Work collaboratively across departments within the network and the team as needed
• Manage overall agency/client relationship by providing strategic input while translating the client’s vision and needs into business requirements
• Lead and build strategic platforms (using SG Hub and local market intelligence) and POVs that can be adopted and adapted around the region; leverage global POVs for region where relevant
• Ensure compliance with GroupM and the client
• Lead to address critical issues as they arise. Sample issues might be “Sales on the ecommerce site are lower than expected in USA. Can you help us figure out why?” or “We want to launch a new product”, what media approach makes sense for USA?”
• Supporting the USA Client Lead on digital contract negotiations and scope

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

• Working with the team to respond to briefs ensuring that the GroupM’s digital product and Global principles are brought to life.
• Develop existing team’s capability on the business.
• Establish operational and strategic presence and built outstanding relationships with key clients both local and global.
• Establish best-in-class platform/format KPIs & benchmarks, for both media and content performance.

In six months:

• Consistent operational excellence in delivery to the brand
• Develop market level perspectives (reports, PPTs, summaries, thought leadership pagers, etc.) at weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual level.
• Develop synergies with other markets on planning and strategy.
• Ensure Local nuances are built as part of conversations and plans to make it locally relevant.

In 9 months:

• Trusted partner for the client on all fronts. Been well recognized by key clients by demonstrating the digital leadership in terms of strategic planning, innovation, measurement etc.
• Collaborative leader, engaging with people of all levels.

Minimum qualifications:

• 10-12 years of Proven track record of having run ecommerce operations / performance marketing account for large scale clients
• Form - Experience delivering actionable strategies; good storytelling in verbal and written form
• Understanding of the E2E of marketing communications, with ability to convert execution results to actionable insights that can successfully optimize the strategy / planning
• Experience of having led and coached mid / large sized teams
• Understanding and aptitude to translate existing & upcoming technology trends to media / business solutions
• Style - Must be confident and approachable, helpful and easy to work with
