Job Purpose

The Assistant Station Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the train station, which includes preparing the station for rail service, conducting security patrols at station premises and on train platforms, providing customer service, and performing duties in the Passenger Service Centre. He/She monitors commuter flow and manages crowds during peak hours and/or during service degradation. He/She carries out first-line recovery of station equipment and systems, performs the duty of an emergency train operator when required, and supports the implementation of procedures for rail incidents and/or emergencies. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Executive (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. He/ she works with the community partners and volunteers for these outreach and engagement programmes and guides the centre and volunteers in executing the programme activities. He/she also collaborates and establishes relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfil MINDS' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre's operations. • Perform train shunting activities and operate depot equipment, maintenance vehicles and maintenance equipment to support maintenance activities of the group.
• Verify and ensure work records done by the team are updated factually, accurately and timely on Work Records Form and on the Maintenance Management System
• Report immediately any abnormalities or practices observed that are not in accordance to Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures.
• Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve Productivity and Value of work performed.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Technology/ Engineering from a recognized institution.

Job Purpose

The PM, CM and operations will be carried out by the in-house teams with certain activities outsourced toVendors. TO may be assigned as Person-In-Charge (PIC) to monitor Vendors when performing their assignedtasks.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain & Operate the STMVs, Locomotives & Wagons as per procedures.

2. Monitor the Vendors for outsourced works under his charge.

3. Carry out the day-to-day maintenance, operation, and administration activities of ETB.

4. Ensure that the latest version of work instructions/procedures, RA, Circulars and are used.

5. Meet the set KPIs and maintain high level of productivity and quality.

6. Attend daily Toolbox meeting conducted by AE.

7. Subjected to regular safety inspection/audit at worksites to ensure compliance to safety procedures.

8. Regularly review the requirement of maintenance tools, equipment, spares and if needed, inform AE or EMMfor procurement in a timely manner.

9. Participate in the inspection of assets for defects punch-listing and review of the defects punch-list.

10. Assist AE in mentoring new staff during their Supervised Field Training (SFT).

Qualifications & Work Experience

• NITEC / NTC 3 / Higher NITEC in the following discipline: Aerospace / Automotive / Electrical / Electronic/ Mechanical / Mechatronic / Microelectronic / Rapid Transit / Marine / Robotics.
• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy/industrial equipment operation ormaintenance.

Station Duties

Assistant Station Manager supports the day-to-day station operations. These include preparing the station for rail service, ensuring safety and security of station premises, providing ticketing and fare related services. He/She monitors commuter flow and manages crowds during peak hours and/or during service degradation. He/She will also provide first aid as part of Emergency Response Team when required. He/she also manages access to the station and assists in track access and procession by maintenance teams and/or service providers.

Train Duties

Assistant Station Manager supports day-to-day train operations. These include preparing the Trains for service, conducting safety and security checks, performing first-line recovery of train and equipment malfunctions, and serving as an emergency train operator. He/She will man the Passenger Vehicle (PV), handle PV defects, and drive the PV.

• As an Assistant Station Manager, you will provide excellent customer service to our passengers to make their journey with SMRT a delightful one.
• You will assist in the operation and control of an MRT station, which includes monitoring of station equipment, responding to station emergencies, platform and concourse patrol, and other station related duties.
• You may be tasked to drive our trains in preparation for emergencies.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Station Manager is responsible to:

• Man or drive the PV according to duty roster plan and when assigned by supervisors.
• Conducting security patrol in the train and reporting faults and abnormalities discovered
• Handle and process transactions for passenger (e.g. problem cards, upgrades).
• Ensures passenger safety and takes remedial action when necessary (e.g. no overcrowding at escalator landing area).
• Assists passengers in travelling in our system (e.g. purchasing of ticket, ticket problem, giving direction, enquiries on fares etc).
• Assists SM to perform administrative duties (e.g. upkeep logbooks, station files and circulars etc).
• Ensure the opening and closing of the station according to the appropriate timetable.
• Handles all train and station incidents and emergencies (e.g. accident, assault and train related fault/alarm etc).
• Be part of Company Emergency Response Team where one is expected to undergo CERT course
• Responsible for their own as well as their Team’s Safety. Staff shall uphold the CCL Safety Mission and 3 principles to complete tasks, perform duties, fulfil the goals of the organization, and adhere to the individual roles and responsibilities.

• NITEC/ Higher NITEC with Engineering background.

The job is for a Programme Manager (PM) to assist the Programme Director (PD) of the ERI@N Interdisciplinary Research Programme focusing on Artificial Intelligence applied to Energy Applications. This program will enable AI and digitalization across the energy domain and the selected Programme Manager will have to work with and support other ERI@N Programme Directors and Programme Managers and lead the development of projects targeting AI applications across the energy domain. This could include (but is not limited to) a wide range of applications including AI for future grid applications, predictive failure detection of Energy Storage Systems, optimization of the future hydrogen economy, clean future mobility and smart buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist the Programme Director (PD), in Scientific and Technical matters relating to their individual areas of expertise, the Programme Manager will support and / or lead the following activities:

• Participate in or lead research and development, demonstration, and deployment projects of innovative energy solutions, that entail research in energy systems and alternative energy sources.
• Support the PD in identifying strategic R&D focus and support technical roadmap development and technology assessments for various energy domains.
• Recommend and support in development of strategic capabilities and core competence in targeted areas.
• Support joint research and development agreements such as Joint Industry Program, Research Collaboration Agreements with Industry or University partners and related programs.
• Manage projects in the group and be the Principal Investigator (PI) of selected research projects to ensure projects are executed to meet the scientific / technical targets.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s / PhD degree in Engineering or Sciences or a related field
• At least 5 years’ experience with a strong research track record in fields of relevance to ERI@N (Artificial Intelligence as applied to power grids, renewables & integration, solar cells, hydrogen & fuel cells, energy storage, energy systems or other energy related applications) would be essential.
• Familiarity with both academic and industrial research as well as the funding landscape enabling these research programs is preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of individual and professional groups including senior level management in both industry as well as government agencies is required.
• Demonstrated leadership in RD&D in energy research as P.I of successful completed multi-million projects/programs; strong publications, or intellectual property track record is preferred.
