We are seeking a highly motivated Project Officer to join our dynamic team at the School of Materials and Science Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. We are looking to hire a scientist with expertise in encapsulation including the use of spray-dryers and other techniques. Some experience in materials science and engineering would be ideal. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of materials science, advanced manufacturing, robotics, and sensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• To identify soluble components in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for characterization.
• To develop and formulate encapsulation systems for the delivery of TCM to gastric and intestinal regions of humans / animals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors qualification with relevant research experience.
• This is an industry-sponsored project.
• Job position is available only for six months.

You shall be responsible to assist the shipyard project team in the management of all purchase requisitions and provide administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team to ensure purchase requisitions are keyed into the Workday system in a time and accurate manner.
• Work closely with the purchasing team on follow up matters related to purchase requisitions.
• Assist project team in follow through of the purchase requisitions including liaising with requestors and users.
• Provide administrative support to the project team together with existing administrative staff.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum GCE O Level / Diploma in business or related field of study.
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English.
• A team player who is organised and possesses good initiative.
• Proficient in relevant Microsoft Office programs.
