Job Role Description:

The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/She manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. Good communication skills are needed to liaise with the various stakeholders.

Project & Service Management

• Lead, deliver, and maintain projects within time, scope, and cost, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Plan and establish project schedules, quality plans, budgets, and communication and risk management plans.
• Manage issues arising from scope definition and disputes impacting scope, schedule, and cost.
• Ensure accurate project cost/revenue forecasts and manage project financials effectively.
• Resolve project overrun issues and track project progress, reporting to Senior Management and Customers.
• Optimize resource utilization across teams to maximize productivity and minimize wastage.
• Lead the project and service team to ensure smooth project transition to operation per customer requirements and processes.
• Manage project operations to maintain service levels without financial penalties or security incidents due to negligence or lack of awareness.

Customer/Vendor/Stakeholder Management

• Manage contracts and subcontractors, effectively engaging stakeholders in project decisions and execution.
• Build long-term customer relationships by anticipating and exceeding customer expectations.
• Negotiate with customers on change control mechanisms to meet schedules and prioritize changes based on business needs.
• Maintain a strong customer-service orientation.

Team Management

• Lead, guide, manage, and motivate project team members to deliver quality project work, eliminate project exceptions, and delight customers.
• Plan for optimal resource use across teams with project and technical competencies.
• Conduct performance reviews and maintain open communication with the team for continuous improvement.
• Ensure high individual and staff billability.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including strong persuasive techniques.
• Ability to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships.
• Proven track record in assuming overall responsibilities and managing large-scale projects.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years of experience
• 3-5 years of experience in the field of Project Management in the IT Industry
• Previous experience running a large IT project of 6 months or longer
• Excellent English skills both written and spoken
• Good communication skills
• Detail-oriented and well organized
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Note: This is currently a work from home position so candidates must have home internet service with at least 30MBPS.

Manage the project's day-to-day operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and making adjustments.

Maintain project documentation and handle compliance or regulatory issues

Knowledge in WOG Infra, Legacy, Cloud and application servers and network.

Troubleshoot knowledge and root cause analysis for the servers and network.

Implementation and run multiple INFRA projects within the timeline.

Have knowledge in firewall, CPPM, F5 Load Balancer and whitelisting portion.

Asset inventory knowledge and project/implementation documentation.

Job Description

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure adherence to fire protection standards, regulations, and codes throughout the project's execution.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, engineers, and field technicians.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, maintain quality standards, and resolve any emerging issues.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, focusing on milestones, risks, and strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
• Foster effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and prompt resolution of issues.
• Lead risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize project risks.
• Drive initiatives aimed at continuous improvement to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing fire protection or related construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA, FM Global, or similar).
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Certification in CSCPM and Managing WAH is required.
