Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Executives/Managers (PE/PM) to manage assigned projects to ensure quality and on time execution to the project’s specification and client’s expectation.
• Assist PE/PM to coordinate the production workflow between the Sales, Design, Procurement and Production departments including any external sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Manage sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and on time delivery within project costs.
• Utilize company’s project management software to coordinate and communicate to project team members during the production process.
• Assist PE/PM to prepare Production Schedule and manage deadlines for the delivery of projects on time.
• Attend project meetings as and when required, eg. for issues resolution and updates.
• Assist PE/PM to facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed and manage any impact on schedule and budget.
• Assist PE/PM to prepare Onsite Schedule for the coordination of load-in, setup and dismantling works and to share with relevant parties.
• Oversee onsite setup work to check on quality delivery, safe work procedures and on time completion, when required.
• Apply Permit To Work with supporting WSH documentation (Risk Assessment, Methods Statement, Safe Work Procedures) and any project-related admin work when required.
• Source for sub-contractors, suppliers and production material, when required.
• Conduct post project evaluation to identify key learning points for work improvement.

Overall Job Objectives

Assists the PM to oversee the construction activities, progress, planning, implementing, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programme

Job Specifications

JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Perform route mapping and navigation testing
• Assists in setting up the servers and other peripherals needed for robot operations
• Execute hardware and system upgrade or modification
• Provide technical support to the Service Team for Tier 3 - Software and System issues whenever necessary
• Conduct training to the Product Operators and Service Team for the newly setup system, equipping them with product operations and basic troubleshooting knowledge
• Coordinates with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and providing regular progress reports
• Escalate higher level issue whenever necessary
• Prepare and submit relevant Operations documents as needed
• Execute ad hoc tasks on behalf of the Robotics Operations Team as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields
• Proven relevant work experience of at least 2 years
• Strong background in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
• Familiarity in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, setup and troubleshooting
• Familiarity in system/network installation, setup and troubleshooting
• Familiarity in AutoCAD, ElcoCAD and any other design and planning software
• Familiarity of LINUX (Ubuntu) System and software troubleshooting will be an added advantage
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical prints and other related technical documentation
• Strong working knowledge of equipment, tools and components used in the industry
• Proficiency in using computers and basic applications such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure
• Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and end users
