Job Description:

• The Fire Protection Systems Engineer will support the Project Manager in various tasks related to designing, coordinating, and overseeing the installation of fire protection systems for commercial projects. This role will involve working closely with drafters, sub-contractors, and the project management team to ensure installations comply with industry standards and project specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Designing Fire Protection Systems:
   Collaborate with drafters to design effective and compliant fire protection systems for commercial projects, ensuring alignment with safety codes and regulations.
2. Review Code of Practices:
   Ensure that the relevant fire protection installation codes and practices meet industry standards and legal requirements.

7. Quality Checks and Analysis:
   Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet all required standards and are free of defects.

As a Senior Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to lead, supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers, Technicians and sub-contractors leading to successful project completion. You will monitor and control projects on schedule, within budgeted cost and quality and safety standards. You will also work closely with the consultant/owner to ensure the project is delivered according to requirements. As a senior, you are also required to perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.

You should possess a Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics in any Engineering related courses, with 3-5 years’ experience in site supervision and coordination with owner, main contractors, and subcontractors, must have experience in alarm, card access and CCTV system installation knowledge. Must be computer literate and knowledge of Risk Management.
