Role Summary:
The Technical Project Manager will oversee and manage technical projects related to the enhancement, replacement, and installation of innovative entertainment systems across the Resort. This role requires a strong understanding of entertainment technologies, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and chair design and project development meetings to define the performance and technical scope of proposed systems, ensuring follow-up actions are completed and documented.
- Plan, organize and maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, site drawings, timelines, resource allocation, bills of quantities, and deliverables.
- Oversee vendor procurement by engaging internal teams, reviewing technical clarifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and ensuring required permits and reports are prepared.
- Supervise and track vendor execution progress, organize site access, and support installation activities while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and execute site acceptance tests, final site inspections, and required project documentation, such as SATs and operational manuals.
- Facilitate training sessions and manage the project handover process to relevant teams, ensuring post-installation reviews are conducted.
- Monitor compliance with safety and operational guidelines, industry standards, and local regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project progress, manage payment stage approvals, and address any additional tasks or responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree, Diploma or WSQ Equivalent in a related discipline.
- With Degree, Diploma or WSQ Equivalent: 8 – 10 years of related industry experience required.
- Without Diploma or WSQ Equivalent: at least 10 years of related industry experience required.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies with a proven ability to plan, organize and complete tasks in an acceptable timeframe.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Familiarity with Q-Sys, and similar audio networking platforms.
- Flexible approach to working hours with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in entertainment equipment and systems including: Staging, Lighting, Sound, Audio-visual, Rigging, Show Control, SFX and Automation.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols.
