Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator (Site) shall assist and support the Senior Manager in coordinating and monitoring and arranging the site projects on-going, communicating between the office, workers, subcontractors and clients on site. Provide timely updates and suggestions to Senior Manager for timely implementations to ensure work efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Arrange and task ground staff with instruction from Office to support site executions on projects.
• Control and Maintains project schedules by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems in specific to manpower and materials / tools needed.
• Support in sourcing project material, tools, and equipment to support the start and during the course of the projects.
• Account and maintain the inventory of material, tools, and equipment of the projects before/during/after.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Acts as safety ground coordinator to ensure safety awareness and maintenance of the ground staff.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids.

2. Coordinate with various Government agencies and utility authorities for initial site clearance and set up site office

3. Report on daily issues to Project Manager / Construction Manager

14. Preparing complete, accurate and timely submittal logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications.

15. Accountable for receiving approved submittals from and notifying the Project Manager of potential schedule impact.

16. Assist Project Manager by preparing all necessary backups relating to change requests.

17. Distribute contract documents to subcontractors, including drawings, specifications, and general conditions. Include any accepted alternates or addendums with documents.

18. Schedule all required construction meetings with required personnel subcontractors, architects and owners

19. Prepare correspondence with client, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. Examples of referenced correspondence include, but not confined to the following items: Schedule of values, project schedule, memos, request for information (RFI), transmittals and submittals.

20. During Construction Phase, proactively manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety.

21. Utilize and maintain tools: schedule and document management to track and record project performance.

22. Planning work to ensure that materials, machineries, authorities’ approval and sites condition are ready before the work starts.

23. Coordinating with authorities, clients to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment

Requirements

Liaise with Yard’s commissioning personnel to close out issues which will affect the smooth completion of project

Ensure that Punch List are corrected and Test Memo and Service Acknowledgement Report are signed

Ensure that site issues are highlighted to the Production Manager/Assistant Production Manager in order to come up with proper and timely solution

Inform the project engineers in the event of changes on design, drawings and system operation which may arise during the job execution.

Highlight to Project Engineers any changes that may be required on supplied equipment for quality improvement

Ensure that the equipment used for commissioning are calibrated and maintained in good working condition to achieve quality standard.

Ensure non-conformity report is being raised as and when necessary.

Ensure that non-conformances are promptly resolved by means of investigation and corrective action.

Managing company’s project performance, from delivering of operational KPI to liaising with internal Project Managers.

Prepare quarterly reports for review and clearly present the results and status to various stakeholders on a regular basis.

Key personnel in maintaining, analysing, and forecasting project cost to project team and management.

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or any other recognized professional qualification of the same equivalent.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Prior exposure to accounting for construction contracts is preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage different personality types.

Work well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of new wind farm/storage SCADA (Supervisory control and data acquisition) software system, maintaining SCADA system stability and solving SCADA system issues
• Responsible for collecting customer issues and requirements, handling or coordinating relevant parties to follow-up
• Responsible for checking new projects' delivery quality when handover from delivery team
• Responsible for summarizing projects' issues and generating reports weekly or monthly
  
  Job requirements
• Majors in electrical engineering, automation, computer etc., experience in relay protection, wind power or photovoltaic or SCADA system debugging is preferred;
• Familiar with communication protocols such as Modbus and IEC104, be able to handle common communication issues independently
• Familiar with Linux commands and basic network knowledge, experience in physical server and gateways is preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills, able to independently connect with customer, project management experience is preferred
• Having a strong sense of responsibility and a certain ability to handle pressure
• Domestic and international (asia) travel (40% of time).
