Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop Comprehensive Project Plans: Create detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments to guide project execution.
• Safety Documents: Prepare all necessary safety documents that require to project such as Method of Statement (MOS), Risk Accessment (RA), Fall Prevention Plan (FPP), Safe Work Procedure (SWP) and etc...
• Oversee Project Delivery: Ensure projects are executed within approved timelines and budgets, delivering the required quality.
• Procurement Management: Manage the procurement process, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection to meet project requirements.
• Compliance Management: Monitor and enforce adherence to workplace safety, health regulations, quality standards, and relevant legal requirements throughout the project.

Technical Oversight & Coordination

• Design Review & Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction works meet specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with engineers, architects, and consultants to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Design Optimization: Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other tools to analyze and optimize design solutions, ensuring efficiency and feasibility.

Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Supervise Site Activities: Oversee daily site operations, including the management of subcontractors and the labor force to ensure progress aligns with project schedules.
• Collaboration with Surveyors & QPs: Liaise with surveyors and Qualified Persons (QP) for site inspections and quality control checks.
• Resolve On-Site Issues: Address and resolve technical challenges or issues that arise during construction promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to progress.

Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management

• Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Project Team Meetings: Lead and participate in regular project team meetings to identify and resolve challenges, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Maintain Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Documentation & Reporting

• Contract & Change Management: Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, and amendments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Progress Reporting: Provide detailed progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key developments and issues.
• Invoice & Payment Tracking: Ensure timely submission of invoices and tracking of payments to manage project finances effectively.

Ad-Hoc Responsibilities

• Additional Tasks: Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by senior management to support the successful completion of the project.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management, recognized by BCA.

Experience

• At least 10 years of project management experience, preferably in facade or construction industries.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with construction management software, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation tools.

Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

• To be ISO-Team representative as a Project Coordinator to coordinate the project at site.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

• Coordinate project (R&R / NRP) works.
• Plan and discuss with sub-contractors on project execution including implementation.
• Manage and supervise project works as well as oversee all workers, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure proper work execution and good workmanship.
• Execute project works based on the drawing / specification. ‘
• Resolve any Clients and / or residents’ complaints / feedbacks.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Clients, Consultants and Vendors on all project matters.
• Attend site meeting, if applicable.
• Track work progress and submit progress report so as to ensure that the projects are executed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the project work to ensure successful completion as well as hand over to the Clients.

(B) General :

• Maintain all the documentation for the projects.
• Coordinate and work with other departments as well as to supervise the project works.

Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety :

• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Degree or Diploma in Building / Certificate in Civil & Structural Engineering or related field.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project)
• Positive and good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A good team player and willing to be stationed at the site office.
• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license.

(C) Experience :

• Preferably 4 years working experience in Building Construction Industry.
