Project Sales Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of related industry experience in project sales with a strong track record
• Strong technical skills in engineering design, analysis, and testing

Job scope:

• Follow up with site walk and client enquiry for the new job or project and work together with project engineer and manager for the quotation and tender submission, ensuring purchase order is secured.
• Coordinating with engineering, construction and liaise with the client on detail engineering requirements.
• Prepare quotation, budget plan and submission to have approval from project engineer or manager.
• Prepare method of statement, lifting plan and work schedule to provide safety personnel to prepare risk assessment.
• Prepare MTO and raise MR for all materials required for the project.
• Responsible for equipment installation, structure installation, piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, procedures, specifications, priorities and availability of construction drawings.
• Handling all the technical queries and investigating all the work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
• Review of Project specification, ISO drawings and P&ID.
• Responsible for counter checking by ISO drawings, P&ID and GA drawings for the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.
• Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module. Preparation of “AS BUILT” drawings.
• Responsible for carrying out mechanical clearance, conducting hydro and pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.
• Responsible for line checking after hydro testing or pneumatic testing to complete the post punch list prior to sign-off the test packages before signing the completion of piping / mechanical.
• Ensure that all punch list items are resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.
• Take prompt corrective and preventive action to remove any quality issue, any unsafe elements and unhealthy conditions at site.
• Sales Cycle Management: Conduct the full sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-up, service delivery, and transaction closure.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on in preparation of financial reports in compliances with the Group and Company policies and SFRS standards.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Supervise, lead, and provide coaching to the Finance and Operations Team on daily routine activities and review all the tasks performed by the team.
• Coordinate closely with the team to maintain up-to-date project / SO status. Ensure timely updates to project-related schedules, including contract assets, contract liabilities, and project job costing.

• To support the company on the financial reporting and tax filing related matters.

• To assist the Finance & Operations team on any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent Holding a CPA qualification will be an advantage.
• Strong in SFRS or IFRS knowledge and able to work in tight dateline environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application especially in Ms-Excel & Ms-Word.
• Meticulous, organized and ability to handle multi-task in a dynamic/fast-paced environment.
• A resourceful team player with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Minimum of 5 years in managerial role or operations support experience.
• Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to operate successfully in an unstructured, dynamic and collaborative environment.
• With good knowledge and exposure on project accounting will be advantageous

Senior Project Engineer (Demolition Works)

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise new erections, additions, and alterations (A&A) to existing buildings, including earth retaining and stabilizing systems, as well as specialist designs for demolition works.
• Plan and implement the project, ensuring all construction activities on-site align with the master and detailed work programs.
• Work independently and as an integral member of the Site Management team.
• Prepare, plan, and submit project-related documents such as schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, monthly reports, etc.
• Supervise the execution of construction works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, construction drawings, the company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices, and other contract documents.
• Coordinate and liaise with the client’s representatives, relevant authorities, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc., to address both technical and non-technical issues and document resolutions.
• Plan and coordinate site works while resolving drawing details and discrepancies.
• Identify potential and existing problems impacting the work schedule, offering solutions to the relevant team/department.
• Liaise with clients or consultants for site inspections and technical report submissions, ensuring all necessary records are maintained on-site.
• Assist the Contracts Department (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims from contractors.
• Attend regular meetings with clients’ representatives, consultants, and contractors to ensure project progress is on schedule.
• Establish and maintain an effective document control system, conducting reviews of detailed design drawings, project documents, and specifications.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent field.
• At least 10 years of project or site management experience, particularly in Demolition projects.
• Ability to lead site management activities.
• Familiarity with wire saw cutter and waterjet cutter methods for demolition is a must
