Job Requirements

• Min. 6 years of experience in Electrical works
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
• Knowledge of project management software and tools
• Experience with electrical works, Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, distribution board, cable selection, electrical single line drawing, cable containment system, lighting fixtures
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-skills to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedules meetings, prepares meeting agendas and takes meeting minutes
• Maintains project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings and reports and ensures all documents are organized, up-to-date and easily accessible
• Serves as the main contact person for the project by taking calls, messages and handling correspondences with clients & external parties, where appropriate direct the correspondence or communication to the relevant Project Team members
• Facilitates communication among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors and internal team members
• Prepares and distribute project updates and reports
• Maintains diaries and arranges appointments for Project Director/Project Manager
• Collates information from Project Team members and prepare weekly/monthly Project Progress Report for submission
• Acts as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients
• Provides project induction training to new members joining the Project Team and update the Project Organisation Chart as necessary
• Responsible for control & procure project office supplies & stationary with approval by the Project Control Manager
• Organises social activities such as appreciation luncheon or dinner with client or among project team members with instruction from the Project Director/Project Manager
• Implements and maintains document control procedures
• Oversees the entire lifecycle of documents, from their creation and distribution to their eventual archiving
• Categorises and organises documents based on their type, importance and relevance

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering/HR/Administration
• Minimum 3 years experience in project work environment
• Familiar with PIMS or other document software control systems will be preferred
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong ability to be organised, keep a clear head and keep track of everything from deadlines to essential files
• Clear and friendly communication, engaging in conversations that create strong connections and build relationships
• Ability to take the initiative, work independently and seek for continuous improvements
• Honest and trustworthy, may handle sensitive project, client or eternal party information so important to exercise discretion maintaining confidentiality
• Strong advocate for teamwork
• Ability to cope with stress, deadlines and multitasking, often dealing with several people at once

• Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner;
• Attends external project kick-off meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting;
• Assists Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department;
• Assists Project Manager in carrying out risk assessment and other risk management activities; makes recommendations on risk control measures; communicating risk assessment to all workers;
• Ensures all contractors are safety inducted and issued with Permit before work commencement;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; to inform project manager or project director of any shortcoming in the SWP or risk control measures implemented;
• Ensures the familiarization with the scope of works;
• Resolves site problems proactively in a timely manner and seeks advice from Project Manager as appropriate;
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
• Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel;
• Assists in cost control by cutting materials wastage, reducing labour cost, usage of tools and equipment, etc;
• Assists the Project Manager in conducting Mass Tool Box meeting with safety personnel;
• Ensures proper project documentation including email communication;
• Assists in promoting good team morale and team spirit in the project team;
• Strong in Structural work

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of project
• Liaise with consultants and /or sub-contractors on the project matters
• Attend meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on the project related matters
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard
• Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate
• Assist Project Manager on the tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Seior Executive Specialized in Engineering- Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
