JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager – Tendering is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of tendering and bidding for construction projects. This role requires expertise in pre-construction planning, contract management, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure the submission of competitive and compliant tenders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive successful outcomes in securing projects for the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse and clarify RFQs (Request for Quotation) or opportunities during pre-tender and tender phase and to raise queries or amendments in order to influence clients or consultants if possible.
• Review tender documentation, specifications, and drawings to fully understand project requirements.
• Develop and implement tender strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Coordinate the preparation of detailed, accurate, and competitive tender submissions.
• Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities associated with each tender and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead the preparation of project costing, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor evaluations.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, procurement, legal, and finance) to gather necessary inputs for tender preparation.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, to obtain competitive quotes and support bid requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the tendering process, addressing queries and providing clarifications

SKILLS REQUIRED

• MUST Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Equivalent

• Plan and allocate resources, projection and forecast of manpower.
• Ensure proper management and control of project documentation.
• Manage and lead the team for preparation, submission and obtain approval of MOS, RA, SWP, shop drawings, material, equipment, RFA, RFI etc.
• Conduct regular site meetings and attend essential meetings.
• Manage, plan, and lead the testing & commissioning of ACMV system.
• Manage, lead and handover OMM document, training, as built drawings, spare parts and DLP program.

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in similar fields.
• Must have 15 years’ design and installation experience in ACMV and BMS System.
• Good knowledge of codes, standards, and procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit.
