Provide professional advice to project teams on safety and health issues, conduct site safety audits / inspections, safety training, contribute articles for in-house publications and conduct research on the latest developments in the area of safety and health.

The main roles and responsibilities are:

• Design and implement emergency preparedness and contingency plans including periodic drill exercise for all type of emergencies
• Ensure that safety standards are maintained, implemented to best practice at all times and continually seek improvements in safety standards
• Ensure construction activities on site are performed in accordance to the required Meinhardt standards and statutory requirement.
• Maintain relevant safety records, records and certificates required for sites.
• Ensure the company health and safety are implemented consistently across the organization
• Liaise with governmental agencies in regard to regulatory requirement
• To lead investigations for all types of incidents (medical treatment case, first aid case, restricted work day case, fatality and potential >RAM 3 near misses and unsafe conditions and actions) and recommend corrective actions effectively preventing recurrence of event. This includes having a strong reporting and investigation skills.
• Facilitate safety trainings, monitor and conduct courses as required including evaluation.
• Advise Management in all matters pertaining to safety and health including compliance with Singapore legislation’s on health, safety & environmental (FMA, OHSA & EQA)
• Conducting/ assisting in work place health and safety inspections and audits.
• Responsible on the effective implementation and closure of associated corrective/ remedial action.
• To prepare & provide monthly reporting for review by Regional HSEQ Manager
• Driving the project team building the safety culture in project site including promotional campaigns and behavioral based approach trainings.
• To review Contractor Project Safety Plan and ensure efficient implementation throughout the project cycle

Requirements

• Degree in Health, Safety and Environment/ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/ Civil/ Construction/ Structural.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with MOM
• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preference of candidates who have knowledge about building and facilities management
• Possess negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

• Strong understanding of building systems (ACMC, fire, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance processes.

As a Tax Manager you will be responsible for both Singapore and International tax matters. You will be working closely with our in-house global tax team and act as a liaison with external tax advisor.

Key Role and Responsibility:

• Global Minimum Tax Governance: Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and standards.
• Transfer Pricing Compliance Management & Advisory: Coordinate and/or prepare transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with local advisers. Manage risk assessments and prepare defense files. Review and ensure the accuracy of intragroup agreements.
• Tax Compliance Management: Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Tax Project Management: Manage tax-related projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Tax Audit Management: Handle inquiries and manage tax audits effectively and maintain a close relationship with tax authorities to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Collaboration with Regional Tax Teams and External Consultants: Work closely with regional tax teams to ensure alignment and consistency in tax practices and liaise with external tax consultants to obtain expert advice and support.
• Tax Controversy Resolution and Prevention: Proactively identify and resolve potential tax controversies. Develop strategies to prevent future tax disputes.
• Contract Review from a Tax Perspective: Review contracts to identify and mitigate potential tax risks.
