Job Summary:
The Channel Sales Executive will be responsible for building and growing channel sales in the retail space for healthcare and lifestyle-related products, focusing on consumer-grade medical devices for health monitoring, rehabilitation equipment, and consumables. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for healthcare products, a proven track record in channel sales, experience managing and training retail promoters, and expertise in retail inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Channel Development & Management:
ā¢ Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key retail partners to expand sales channels.
ā¢ Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets in the retail space.
ā¢ Continuously assess and explore new channels and market opportunities.
2. Retail Promoter Management & Training:
ā¢ Recruit, train, and manage a team of retail promoters to effectively represent and promote products in the retail environment.
ā¢ Develop training programs for retail promoters to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of product features, benefits, and sales techniques.
ā¢ Monitor and assess the performance of retail promoters, providing feedback and guidance to enhance their effectiveness.
3. Sales Execution:
ā¢ Actively engage with existing retail partners to drive product placement and increase visibility.
ā¢ Coordinate promotional activities and marketing initiatives to boost product sales.
ā¢ Monitor sales performance, trends, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to management.
4. Retail Inventory Review & Management:
ā¢ Collaborate with retail partners to review and manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are adequately stocked to meet consumer demand.
ā¢ Conduct regular inventory checks and provide accurate forecasting to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
ā¢ Work closely with the supply chain and retail partners to streamline inventory management processes.
5. Product Expertise & Customer Support:
ā¢ Develop in-depth knowledge of healthcare and lifestyle products, including consumer-grade medical devices, rehabilitation equipment, and consumables.
ā¢ Conduct product training sessions for retail partners and promoters to ensure a thorough understanding of product benefits and usage.
ā¢ Provide support to retail partners and promoters, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a seamless sales process.
6. Reporting & Analysis:
ā¢ Prepare regular sales and inventory reports, highlighting achievements, trends, and areas for improvement.
ā¢ Analyze sales and inventory data to identify growth opportunities and create action plans to address gaps.
7. Market Insights & Feedback:
ā¢ Gather market intelligence on customer preferences, competitive products, and industry trends.
ā¢ Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights to enhance the product range.
Job Requirements:
ā¢ Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in channel sales, preferably within the healthcare or FMCG consumer goods industry. Experience in managing and training retail promoters and overseeing retail inventory is essential.
ā¢ Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage relationships with retail partners, promoters, and inventory stakeholders effectively.
ā¢ Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare and lifestyle products, including medical devices and consumables, as well as retail inventory management best practices.
ā¢ Education: A Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
