Position Overview: As a Business Development Executive, you will play an important supporting role in the execution of strategic and operational goals within the company. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Manager to assist in driving business growth, improving market presence, and ensuring efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Strategic Planning and Business Development:
Assist in the research and development of strategies aimed at maximizing growth in new markets, technologies, and business models.
Support the analysis of market segments, competitors, and growth opportunities.
Aid in the preparation of documents and presentations for strategic planning processes.
Marketing and Business Development:
Assist in the creation and execution of marketing plans, including joint ventures and alliances to achieve company growth objectives.
Conduct basic market research, including competitor analysis and identification of market opportunities.
Maintain and update the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Support in identifying and applying for relevant grants in the market.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Provide support in coordinating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, Sales, etc.) to communicate marketing and business development initiatives.
Assist in aligning regional offices (Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Thailand) with the head office marketing and business development plans.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to efforts aimed at improving business processes, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Help in tracking the progress of goals and report on team performance to maintain high standards.
Administrative Support:
Assist in the streamlining of administrative procedures and systems to ensure smooth office operations.
Support the liaison with vendors on administrative and contract-related matters, including corporate insurance.
Tender Process Support:
Help plan and coordinate administrative procedures for the tender process.
Prepare basic pricing details and documentation for review and submission during tenders.
Business Administration:
Assist in managing the purchase order register and other administrative tasks.
Support procurement activities as needed.
Contract Support:
Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
Support the drafting, reviewing, and managing of business contracts under the guidance of the Contract and Marketing Manager.
Help ensure that contracts meet technical standards and assist in tracking project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary education in Business Administration, Building Facilities, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in contract management, or a related area.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively across departments.
