Primary purpose and job scope:

• Work with SAP specialists to implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition, across various customer projects in multiple industries.
• Contribute to functional and business analysis, and support solution configuration and implementation.
• Assist in presales activities by preparing and delivering S/4HANA Cloud demonstrations.

Key accountabilities:

• Support the team in the successful implementation of S/4HANA Cloud functionalities, meeting project goals and timelines.

Minimum Requirements (must have):

• Understanding of ERP systems; any exposure to S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business ByDesign or other cloud ERP solutions is advantageous.
• Background in finance and exposure to business processes in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, energy or construction industries.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong desire to learn and solve challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a Public Policy Director candidate to join our team, and set up the newly established public policy function. In this role, candidate will lead policy development and advocate best practice policies and regulations alongside PPP stakeholders, to promote sustainable development and business-friendly environment in the special economic zone (SEZ).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Policy Development and Advocacy
• Work closely with PPP task force (including the Government) to draft enabling policies and regulations for the SEZ
• Develop frameworks for tax incentives, legal arbitration, risk management and investor-friendly regulations tailored to the financial and tourism sectors
• Monitor project progress and adjust strategies accordingly

Policy Analysis
• Provide research-backed recommendations to steer task force and committee strategic direction to promote FDI and zone’s sustainable development
• Lead industry forums across target markets to gather feedback and foster consensus

Stakeholder Engagement
• Manage, monitor and guide policy initiatives under the PPP task force
• Develop meaningful partnerships with international organizations and private sectors to accelerate soft infrastructure development within the zone
• Build relationships with stakeholders (Government agencies, international organizations, private sector partners, etc.)

Capacity Building
• Build and train up an internal public policy team to front department objectives

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in public sector or government/public strategy consulting roles, with a focus on developing and supporting policy strategies
• Proven track record in managing and designing policy frameworks, with ability to engage with key stakeholders for implementation
• Project experience in SEZs, tourism and financial sectors, particularly in emerging markets will be advantageous
• Frequent business travel is required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Central Asia regional policy lead to develop and execute strategic regional policy plans, aligned with global policy priorities and local market needs.
• Track key policy developments in Central Asia, focusing on issues at the intersection of technology, social media, and the digital economy, and provide timely analysis and recommendations to relevant teams.
• Support strategic engagements with policymakers, NGOs, private sector organizations, and other stakeholders across Central Asia to advance Meta’s public policy interests on issues such as safety, security, content policy, AI, and other technology-relevant matters.
