The candidate will provide operational middle and back-office support including daily fund operations, trade settlement and business-related needs. The candidate will have opportunities to both learn and expand their knowledge of the operations workflow for hedge funds across different strategies, managed accounts and long only funds. This candidate reports to the Head of Operations – Public Markets.

· Involvement in the project management of fund/managed account launches

· Daily operational duties

· Trade reconciliation

· Calculation of internal daily NAV estimates

· Interaction with a wide range of service providers including but not limited to Prime Brokers, Custodians, Trustees, Executing Brokers, Fund Administrators

· Monitoring & performing monthly or intra month hedging

· Assisting auditors in the preparation of annual Financial Statements

· Performing KYC compliance checks & AML checks

· Preparation of newsletters for investors

· Ad-hoc duties including assisting in the preparation of marketing materials and short-term projects

Requirements

- Willing to work in accordance to the Japanese calendar

- Working hours are Mon – Fri 7am to 4.30pm

- Relevant studies, for example: accounting, finance, statistics, and or business

- Experience in trade execution, helpful

Key Objective

The Executive, Consumer Relations (CROs) of the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) are the first point of contact for consumers who seek advice and/or redress for their contractual disputes with businesses. CROs require relevant skills and acumen to handle a wide variety of consumer to business disputes and to assist parties in negotiating an amicable settlement. Consumers may either lodge their disputes online or schedule an appointment to meet the CROs in person.

Core Responsibilities:

Consultation Service

• Review the complaints submitted by consumers, dealing directly with them over the telephone, email, through face to face and online channels.
• Review the contractual documents and provide advice to consumers on their contractual rights, and options to seek redress.

Dispute Resolution

• Handle the disputes, dealing directly with consumers and businesses over the telephone, email, through face to face and online channels.
• Gather, collate and organise relevant documentation.
• Seek to achieve an amicable resolution for both parties through negotiation and mediation sessions in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper filing and prompt closure of all complaints.

Other Roles

• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned which may include: -
• Generation of statistics and reports.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability

• Diploma or Degree from a recognized tertiary institution. Law related courses will be an advantage.

• Meticulous, well-organized and able to handle pressure effectively.
