Guest Relations Officer

Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary

Responsible in satisfying hotel guests’ needs through attending to their enquiries and providing solutions and good customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs check-ins and check-outs.
• Ensure all reservations are entered in timely and accurate manner.
• Handles guests enquires and complaints.
• Attend to customer's need and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on email enquiries.
• To work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance Department
• To carry out our duties and responsibilities assigned.
• This role will report to the Hotel Manager.

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
• 1 year work experience required.
• Preferably Entry Level specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

• Engage and collaborate with internal SNM divisions to support their programmes with external organisations.
• Assist in developing new strategies and sustainable partnerships to advance ecosystem of activities at NH, AACs & SCCs.
• Project manage and evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of the initiatives.
• Assist in managing all SNM wide events and activities.

Donor Relations

• Assist to liaise with corporate companies, external vendors, and collaborators on fundraising, marketing and Public Relation campaigns.
• Assist with social media content creation for fundraising campaigns.
• Proactively seek out and build relationships with existing donors through consistent, sustained and valuable engagement to maintain donor loyalty and conversion.
• Manage the Donor Management System (DMS).

Volunteer Management

• Monitor and plan the centralised recruitment of volunteers to ensure the ratio of staff to volunteers to seniors is achieved.
• Support the deployment of volunteers for various SNM events and initiatives.
• Implement formal/informal volunteer recognition activities to recognize their contribution to SNM programmes and activities.
• Ensure that volunteers assist in a safe and supportive environment in accordance with the legislation and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Community Engagement, Donor Relations & Volunteer Management
• Strong collaborative and partnership building skills with Grassroots organisations, Religious organisations, Community partners and Government agencies
• Proven track record in managing fundraising campaigns and donor relationships.
• Able to manage multiple projects/events in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and has an interest to enhance care for seniors
• Good team player, self-motivated and resourceful with good problem-solving skills
• Able to commit on weekend and evening meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleanliness of public area
• Sweep, scrubs and mop floors
• Conduct frequent checks of all restrooms and clean them, replenishing amenities as required
• Vacuum carpet, hard floors
• Upholstery using appropriate machine and mechanical attachments
• Ensuring economical use while replenishing supplies into restrooms
• Carry out correct procedure for rubbish disposal
• Reports all defects and update superior
• Responsible for correct care and maintenance of all machinery and tools used
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed before the end of shift
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling narratives, pitches, press releases, and marketing copy.

• Proven track record of managing KOL outreach initiatives and securing media coverage.

• Familiarity with social media monitoring tools and analytics platforms.

• Creative thinker with a passion for fashion, trends, storytelling, and copywriting.

• Knowledge of SEO principles and practices, with the ability to optimize content for search engines and drive organic traffic.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
