Job Summary

The Guest Relations/Events Supervisor is one who is outgoing, motivated, a team player who can also work independently. The responsibilities includes assisting with the Guest Relations/Events and Sales Assistant Manager in discovering new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction for continued business. This role will also include general duties within the Guest Relations Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to new enquiries and follow up with clients to address any questions or concerns.
• Develop proposals that align with both the budgetary constraints of the venue and the preferences of the guests.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver events on time and within budget, even when faced with tight timelines or schedules.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns throughout the event.
• Issue accurate Event Orders and ensure their prompt distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues that arise during events quickly and effectively, or provide assistance as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to enhance their experience and encourage repeat business.
• Conduct site visits as required to inspect ongoing arrangements and ensure that the needs of the guests and the event are being met.
• Assist the Guest Relations Team with basic duties if necessary, prioritizing event responsibilities as needed.
• Anticipate guests needs and the provision of flawless, profession and upscale guest service experience.
• Keep the line manager informed of all progress and developments related to events.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide flawless, professional, and upscale service throughout their experience.
• Assist in menu printing as needed for events.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder.
• Work experience in Hospitality, Customer Service preferred.
• Possess basic knowledge of F&B operations.
• Possess excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Fluent and literate in English for effective communication with stakeholders; bilingual experience preferred.
• Strong team player with a calm demeanour and conflict resolution skills.
• Keen to deliver memorable and meaningful experiences for our guests and the ability to work well under pressure
• Experience in Catering and MICE related events – corporate events, weddings, or equivalent, with a strong network of vendors, industry partners, events companies etc. preferred.
• Adaptive, open-minded and willingness to be flexible.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to details and ability to multitask with project management skills.
• Passionate about hospitality and lifestyle scenes
• Flexibility to work on weekends/PH/Shift hours.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Routine patrolling and clocking to ensure safety and security
• Respond to emergency incidents/accidents at site
• Manage disorderly conduct and threatening behaviour
• Observe, inspect, and report unusual behaviour or safety/fire hazard
• Manage driveways to ensure smooth flow of traffic
• Monitor CCTV
• Crowd Control

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field
• Rotating day and night shift work (including weekends and public holidays)
• Able to communicate and write simple English for recording daily incidents
• Positive working attitude
• Possess valid security license registered with PLRD
• Completed WSQ Security modules in:

a) Handle Security Incidents and Services

b) Provide Guard and Patrol Services

c) Recognise Terrorist Threat or equivalent

This position will report to the Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Operations Manager

** Available shifts: 10.30am - 3.30pm or 5pm - 10pm

The working location is within walking distance from Bras Basah MRT station and City Hall MRT station

Job Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for guests, ensure smooth seating arrangements, and provide excellent customer service
• Process payments, handle cash transactions with precision, and utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently
• Enhance the overall dining experience for customers by being a friendly and organized presence at the front of the restaurant
• Make reservations via phone or email and promptly respond to guest inquiries
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the restaurant menu and products to provide excellent service
• Maintain guest profiles and history, noting special occasions and requests
• Escort guests to their table and provide recommendation and information proactively
• Upsell special promotions and events to guests
• Adhere to the compliance of sanitation and safety regulations

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• To support the Department’s Assistant Manager/Manager in the following matters

• Development and review of the strategy and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and priorities.

• Develop, update and maintain a hospital-wide performance management framework, including but not limited to the Governance Documents, Balance Score Card, as well as strategic indicators and hospital dashboard;

• Facilitate strategic dialogues with cluster stakeholders on the renewal of the Master Framework Agreement by collating, reviewing, and aligning benchmarks of key hospital priorities and performance indicators at management level platforms, including but not limited to Senior Management Meeting (SMM)

• Work through Family Groups, Departments and other key stakeholders to translate hospital/zonal-level priorities and performance indicators into effective Family Group level communications and action plans;

• Perform a periodic review of key performance indicators and take pre-emptive action with relevant stakeholders

• Promote programme evaluation as a critical enabler of the hospital performance evaluation framework.

• Facilitate hospital-level efforts that help advance and communicate Value Strategy, via undertaking secretariat duties to support strategic platforms such as Senior Management Meeting (SMM) and 10KV.

• To support department leadership in the management of the funds available to support the strategies

• To facilitate engagement of key stakeholders and leaders to identify strategic initiatives and programmes for funding.

• To provide support to key events organized and run at the divisional level

Responsible for leading or co-leading project teams under the guidance of senior architects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage the project team to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timelines, budgets, and in compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Simultaneously handle multiple projects from the design phase to project completion under supervision.
• Ensure the project team adheres to company standards in workflow practices while proposing process improvements.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
• Contribute to securing new business opportunities.
• Review and oversee the production of drawings and BIM models required for the project, including submission drawings, detailed drawings, clash detection, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate submissions to authorities, ensuring that all necessary forms, drawings, and BIM models are completed and submitted accurately. Engage with authorities on submission matters as guided by seniors.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience as an architectural associate or a similar role.
• Possess a Degree in Architecture/Mandatory proficiency in Revit Modeling
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Enscape.
• Experience in managing projects from concept to construction completion.
• Preferred experience in private and public residential projects in Singapore.
