Responsibilities

Handle verbal & written feedback from stakeholders, public and authorities in form of emails, letters and face to face meet up.

Keep record and follow up on feedback until closure of case.

Liaise with various Statutory Boards, Government Departments (i.e. LTA, PUB, HDB Town Councils, MOM etc.) and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution.

Organize and co-ordinate both planned and ad-hoc rectification works.

Maintaining of good reputation and goodwill of company.

Public relation monthly report and weekly updates for management meetings.

Carry out pre- and post-visits to stakeholders and residents nearby the vicinity of work sites.

Preparation of PowerPoint presentations to the Management and Client.

In charge of general administration of the site office.

As a Brand & Public Relations Associate, you will play a key role in shaping the brand's public image and driving engagement through strategic communication initiatives.

• Promote and build good industrial relations by working closely with members and shipping management, to achieve a harmonious industrial relations climate that will bring the maximum benefits to our seafaring members
• Handling grievances, resolve conflicts and negotiate collective agreements to secure the welfare for the seafarers
• Helping fellow seafarer members earn a better living, and a better live
• Advocate practices to help seafarers up-skill and enhance productivity, in order to earn better wages and improve lives
• Opportunities will be given to undertake research on maritime issues that will impact at a company, national or international level
• Plan and organise activities that promote bipartite and tripartite relationship

Job Requirements:

• With a minimum Diploma in maritime
• Relevant working experience in the maritime sector is advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to think on-the-feet
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• High perseverance and passion

- Providing hotel guests with information about local attractions

Job Description

The Associate Director in the Strategic Relations business unit plays a crucial role in representing the school in senior engagement and relationship management. This position has a strong focus on identifying new opportunities through establishing C-suite contacts, and nurturing relationships with senior-level academia and industrial alliances. He/she will be required to proactively engage both local and regional alliances to build a potential pipeline of industry partners to further collaboration opportunities.

Strategic Implementation of Regional Initiatives

• Enhance our target growth in student diversity through regional engagement initiatives
• Manage international relations - support the Business School's vision to lead from Asia
• Identify, optimize and develop strategic partnerships with large regional organizations and institutions to expand market reach and engagement
• Actively seek out and generate leads to expand opportunities and conversations
• Drive the development of a robust pipeline of industry alliances, both locally and regionally

Corporate Engagement and Stakeholder Mapping

Events Planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership profile with excellent interpersonal skills across organisational hierarchy and ability to work effectively with a diverse community
• Communicate effectively with senior-level B2B - lead generation through business closing. and represent the university professionally in all interactions
• Proven competencies in business development and demonstrated success in driving account growth
• Able to work with loosely defined problem spaces, and investigate to sense-make, propose and implement sound and timely solutions
• Proven track record in industry collaboration and experience in the higher education sector will be advantageous
