EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

•Minimum 4 years working experience

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Experience in front end technologies such as the following (but not limited to):

o ReactJS

o Typescript related

o Mobile app development (such as Swift and Android)

• Experience in backend technologies such as the following (but not limited to):

• Experience in low code application platforms such as the following (but not limited to):

o OutSystems

o Mendix

o Pega

o MS Power Apps.

• Experience in one or more of the following processes and infrastructure knowledge:

o Agile processes/practices (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming)

o Continuous integration/continuous deployment

o Cloud/PaaS platforms, such as AWS/GCP/Heroku

o Serverless Framework

o Docker/container technology

• Experience with Continuous Integration such as the following (but not limited to):

o Bamboo

o TeamCity

• Good presentation and listening skills

• Exposure to mobile application development will be an added advantage

• Working experience in Agile and UX development environment will be an added advantage

• Familiar or have experiences in cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, etc. Certification on cloud technology will have higher weightage

● Collaborate in partnership with diverse teams across Our Client such as product engineering, data science and business stakeholder teams to successfully deliver business outcomes.

● Work with a mix of cloud infrastructure and open-source technologies to build, scale, and maintain data workloads.

● Work with media industry data practitioners in domains across sales, marketing and advertising, engineering, corporate and our publications to deliver innovative and game changing data products and use cases.

● Work to design, build and implement data workloads across both high and low volume and velocity of data to support business use cases.

● Implement cloud-based scalable and reliable data pipelines at significant scale.

● Implement reliable and redundant data workloads to provide accurate, easy-to-use and timely data to deliver positive business outcomes.

You should be able to:

● Build and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines.

● Build and maintain transactional and analytical data schemas for data lake, data warehouse and data marts.

● Implement Data Analytics and Business Intelligence frameworks to support Enterprise Data needs.

● Adhere to Data Governance policies and implementation from collection to storage and activation of a broad range of data products.

● Utilise data-related languages and frameworks such as Python, Spark, SQL, Hudi, Iceberg.

● Propose Solutions for Data Pipelines, Data Schema and/or Business Intelligence Dashboards and Reports.

● Adhere and have practised Agile Methodology such as Scrum.

● Implement adhering to Master Data Management Best Practices and Principles.

● Understand and Design Data Models following BI Best Practices such as Dimensional Modelling.

It would be great if you had:

● At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in cloud-based data engineering, business analyst, or solution architect roles.

● Experience in data-related infrastructure deployments using Terraform Cloud.

● Experience in using Git for version and release management with knowledge in branching strategies.

● Experience in AWS Data and Analytics services such as EMR, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, Kinesis, or QuickSight.

● Implementation Experience in Business Intelligence Platforms and Tools such as Tableau, QuickSight.

● Experience in utilising query engines such as Presto on Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Data Marts.

● Good communication skills for Data and Analytics concepts and methodologies and how they are relevant to your stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 Support to the IT Team
• Assist on L2 IT-related matters and work with vendor on issues
• Maintenance of IT peripherals including backup & recovery
• Set-up & installation or migration of IT peripherals
• Relocation of IT peripherals within premises
• Troubleshoot hardware & software issues
• Users profile administration
• Provides IT Support for onboarding and offboarding of staff
• Installation and configuration of software according to customer standard

Requirement

• Minimum ITE / Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in IT field
• User support experience is preferred
• Have Customer Service Skills/ Good Communication Skills/ Team Player/ Take Initiative
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
