Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive design specifications, facilitating workload estimation and task allocation.
• Develop and maintain NR/LTE baseband software in a real-time operating system (RTOS) environment, encompassing end-to-end software design, implementation, unit testing, integration, and verification.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to develop a mobile app for visualising geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Undertake these responsibilities in the project:
  1. Implement code for improved cartographic algorithms and thematic map designs.
  2. Design human-subject experiments that test how the implemented map designs are used on electronic devices.
  3. Obtain approval for conducting experiments from the Institutional Review Board.
  4. Perform statistical analysis and report the results in the format of journal articles and conference contributions.
• Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations.
• Coordinate procurement and liaison with vendors/suppliers.
• Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.

Job Requirements

• Have relevant competence in the areas of mobile app development.
• Have programming experience in Python and JavaScript.
• Have a Ph.D. degree in computer science, statistics, geography or a closely related field from a regionally or internationally accredited institutions.

Job Description:

• General Failure Analysis Engineer, 12 hours night shift
• Perform sample preparation (cross section, delayering, decapsulation) using FIB and other preparation techniques;
• Perform failure analysis using various tools and instruments such as CSAM, SEM/EDX, and X-ray;
• Communicate with customer for selecting proper analytical technique and data interpretation;
• Prepare analytical reports;
• Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs;

Micron's Assembly Package Technology Development team is looking for a motivated and experienced individual contributor for this position in Process Development team. A good candidate will be developing, configuring and optimizing Package Assembly processes (front end, bonding and back end) for Micron's memory from pathfinding through to NPI start up and certification side by side with Manufacturing teams. Assessing processes by knowledge and skills, taking measurements and interpreting data are everyday responsibilities and expectations for the successful candidate. Other deliverables in this job function are Assembly design rules development working side by side with Design teams (Globally) and you will be involved in the design approvals (Substrate and Silicon), running, testing and upgrading systems and processes, approving the materials, process and equipment changes in the CCB (change control board). An important topic is the path finding of innovative package technology: Deep fundamental understanding of the key risks in Bumping, Flip chip and HBM technologies. Actual experience with TCB (Thermal Compression Bonding), CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polish), WSS (Wafer Support System), photo process and Ball Mount is a plus. Finally, the hands-on integration experience in Package Assembly and Wafer Level package process are needed, may need to conduct the supplier interactions/meetings and drive new NDAs with new projects, which all together requires a significant understanding of the processes, first principles and process control systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related fields.
• Proven track record in yield management and driving yield improvement initiatives.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, yield analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as JMP, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, and able to present complex technical data and trends to leadership and non-technical audiences.
