Education / Certificates

Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), Dedicated Product Release Verification, and material review.
• Develop and review quality and inspection plans.
• Manage quality-related activities with customers and internal staff, including handling customer rejects, product defects, and non-conforming materials.
• Perform product and system audits for both in-house and vendor operations.
• Participate in continual improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Management.
• Knowledge of AS 9100 / ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Experience with product inspection methods.
• Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) applications is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Quality Statistical Tools and Methodologies such as Cpk, SPC, GR&R, and Six Sigma tools.
• Proficient in writing quality manuals and procedures.
• Ability to lead and/or perform Internal Audits.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize backend systems for MLOps workflows on our compute cloud platform.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance API services to support ML model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop and integrate orchestration systems for managing AI workloads and containerized environments.
• Implement automated model lifecycle management, including versioning, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based AI workloads.
• Enhance logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for ML infrastructure performance tracking.
• Optimize resource allocation and scheduling strategies for distributed AI training and inference tasks.
• Work with AI researchers and engineers to streamline ML model deployment and inference pipelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in backend development.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Ray, or Argo Workflows).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GPU acceleration frameworks (CUDA, NCCL) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI/ML model deployment and serving (e.g., TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, Triton Inference Server).
• Background in optimizing resource utilization for large-scale AI workloads.
• Knowledge of network and security best practices for cloud-based AI systems.
• Contributions to open-source MLOps projects are a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, conceptualizing, and creating mechanical designs for electronics and power electronics products.
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using Siemens NX.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to complete design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
• Work with vendors and contractors efficiently to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Conduct thermal simulation and analysis using industrial software for development.
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration, including 3D printing.
• Develop prototype testing processes, and perform testing and verification of new designs.
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
• Manage BOM creation and maintenance within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
• Ensure the project timeline is met and the project stays within budget.

Qualifications & Competences

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
• Extensive experience using CAD software such as Siemens NX, Creo, or similar.
• Familiar with state-of-the-art 3D printing technology for prototyping purpose.
• Experience and knowledge of Industrial Design (ID) would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with special plastic molding techniques, especially overmolding or ultrasonic welding, would be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support hardware developers on board schematic capture fulfilling design requirements.
• Responsibility for PCB layout in Cadence Allegro.
• Manage the layout design review prior to design release.

Job Description

As a Salvage Engineer, the world is your playground. You never know when or where a ship gets into trouble. That is why for a Salvage Engineer literally every day is different. It sounds like a cliché, but it is the reality. As a Salvage Engineer, you will have an adventurous job. When a ship is in distress, you will travel to the emergency scene with a multidisciplinary team. Once on-site, you work together with the team to get the ship systems up and running again. You are responsible for the vessel maintenance, trouble shooting, and on-site repairs of our salvage equipment. It is vital to salvage the vessel as quickly as possible. As well as working on actual ship salvage operations.

Your responsibilities as a Salvage Engineer

• As part of the mobile team, reports to the Salvage Master/Project Manager at site.
• When at base, assisting the technical manager and the operations manager to set up the right maintenance procedures and carry out the planned maintenance system of our equipment.
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers about complex ship's systems and maintenance solutions.
• Advising the salvage inspector and superintendent about how to break into existing ship's systems in order to use them during the salvage operation.
• Producing reports about the actions taken to get systems operational again. As you can expect from a leading international maritime service company, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment.

Your qualities

To make your mark as a Salvage Engineer with SMIT Salvage, you will need a flexible approach; you never know when or where your next project will be. You adapt easily to working with different teams and you are fully proficient in English. Of course, you are happy to work irregular hours and to spend longer periods of time abroad. In addition, you have:

• An experience sailing onboard ships.
• Worked for at least 5 years on modern (merchant) ships.
• Preferably experience with a range of different types of vessels and engine-room plants.

Stolthaven’s corporate Asset Management department is responsible for developing various new business opportunities in close cooperation with our commercial functions, various experts and local management. These range from greenfield and M&A opportunities in our core business to opportunities in new fields of business or innovation such as energy transition related. The role of business development engineer is a key role in this. As a business development Engineer, you will be supporting with everything technical around business development. These are typically large (class III) projects with capex above 0.5 mln. You will be expected to have an inquisitive mindset and willing to work on various engineering disciplines. In this dynamic role, your responsibilities range from developing conceptual designs, masterplans and other project related documentation during the early stages of a project to evaluating new technology and learning all about new products to be stored or new process at our terminals. Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, EI&A, Civil or related field

2. Familiarity with applicable standards and codes relating to bulk liquid storage facilities for the applicable terminal location is preferred or should be obtained as part of training. This could include API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and CFR and any other (local) codes

3. Exposure to Multi-disciplinary project teams with various business stakeholders is preferred

4. Self-motivated to ‘close the loop’ with actions and administrative responsibilities
