Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Update purchasing records, data and pricing into system.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Manage all correspondences related to vendor, pricing and delivery shortage.
• Coordinate with Project Team and Suppliers.
• Assist in quotation for tender purposes.
• Responsible for filling of all purchasing documents and maintain record for the Purchasing Department.
• Collate and submit purchasing documents such as supplier invoice, PO, and DO to Finance Department.
• Liaise with Finance Department on payment matters.
• Coordinate with Store and vendor on cancelled or damaged items.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum ‘O’ level or equivalent, Diploma/Degree.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Able to effectively communicate with suppliers / vendors.

· Coordinating and facilitating all Lean Manufacturing events to support continuous improvement

· Planning and implementing full Kaizen events, as well as Point Kaizens (mini-kaizens)

· Working with Plant Manager to identify events

· Defining scope and goals of each event with Team Leaders and Plant Manager

· Networking with other PST’s plant personnel to develop best practices

· Facilitating team use of Lean tools, including Kaizen 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving Process and identifying Waste

· Leading 5-S Audits-perform with each team and follow-up to ensure measurement of successes

· Estimating potential and validating actual results (dollars saved, defects eliminated, etc.)

· Reporting and tracking the results of events, and communicating results to the appropriate employees and management by creating and publishing project and program metrics, dashboards and other results in graphical and other formats as appropriate and deemed necessary by Plant Manager

· Managing and ensuring follow-up within department to ensure the recognized gains are sustained

· Helping train the members of the department or area where events are held to improve sustainment and continuous improvements

· Developing, summarizing, and presenting project/team results in power point presentations to the Plant Team

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design of mechanical services, preferably competent in the field of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) system
• Responsible for projects management, planning and the design building systems
• Meeting clients & services providers on scope of service and conduct field surveys

• Analyze & selection of systems and evaluate project budgets

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering that accredited by Professional Engineer Board

You will be part of an IT infrastructure Support Team managing mission critical high-tech biometrics devices at critical locations of significant national interest. You will be trained to manage, troubleshoot and maintain the operational availability of these devices and to remedy faults to prevent operational downtime.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:-

• Support the project teams in the implementation, installation and configuration of PCs/Workstations O.S., applications and related peripheral devices.
• Provide 1st level on-site IT support to the end-users on a 24x7 rotational shift, from 10 am to 10 pm/ 10 pm to 10 am, including Public Holidays.
• The successful applicants should be prepared to be deployed primarily at Tuas Checkpoint. The successful applicant could be deployed to the Tuas checkpoint in the future on a rotational basis.
• Provide findings and timely status updates to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health checks and inventory checks on the system.
• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting of PC / peripheral devices and application maintenance support will be required.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows (Windows clients) environment is required.

• Having prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.
