Tasks and Responsibilities

• To assist Fire Safety Manager in the implementation of protocols as per Emergency Response Procedure (ERP) to be in line and compliance with Singapore Fire Code requirements.
• To assist Fire Safety Manager in conducting relevant drills as per frequency stipulated by SCDF.
• To enforce on compliance of all Fire safety related legislations and Pollution control matters.
• To develop, plan and conduct training relevant to emergency response scenarios to all relevant staff and contractors within PaxOcean.
• To organise and conduct first aid & rescue related training to all HSE and yard staff.
• To lead appointed CERT members in firefighting, rescue and oil pollution control operations.
• To support in the administration and conduct of all other HSE related training i.e., Safety Induction Program for all staff & subcontractors.
• To be in charge of planning, inspecting, replenishing and maintenance of all emergency response equipment within HSE department Store in accordance manufacturers recommendation and/or industry best practices.
• To support and provide first aid treatment to casualties in times of emergency.
• To ensure that all fire fighting, fire suppression and rescue/ first aid equipment are maintained periodically as per manufacturer’s or Industry best practices.

Job Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of SCDF Experience on Emergency.
• NITEC or higher NITEC or equivalent and above.
• At least 3-5 years of actual front-line emergency response experience including (but not limited to) Firefighting and casualties Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Work at Height Rescue
• Experience in leading and managing a team of responders for the mentioned emergency scenarios

• Preparation of process scheme/process flow diagram/FEED and process description

A Lead Automation/Systems Engineer at RoviSys will serve as a software or hardware lead on projects, as well as possess the ability to understand functional specifications and/or design specifications and translate that knowledge in the implementation of control systems. A lead engineer will be expected to develop skills required to successfully implement an entire project from both a control system software and hardware standpoint. A Lead Engineer will act as a mentor to Engineers and support training plans for Engineers.

Description of work:

• Consult with clients on digital transformation strategies within their facilities.

The Digital Supply Chain Group of the Resilient Value Chain Division at ARTC is searching for a Senior Research Engineer to lead and support engineering projects focused on operations research using advanced analytics, simulations, and optimization.

Responsibilities:

Innovate and Develop New Solutions:

Design and prototype novel algorithms, tools, and systems to solve complex operational and industrial challenges.

Conduct research and feasibility studies to create innovative, scalable, and efficient engineering solutions that meet industry needs.

Lead the Development Process:

Lead end-to-end development of research concepts into functional engineering prototypes, ensuring they are industry-ready.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition research results into tangible, deployable products or solutions.

Apply Advanced Research in Engineering:

Leverage cutting-edge technologies such as simulations (discrete-event & agent-based), network analysis, and optimization techniques to develop solutions.

Implement machine learning and AI technologies into operational processes to enhance decision-making capabilities.

Conduct Performance Testing and Optimization:

Evaluate the performance and scalability of developed solutions through testing and optimization.

Work closely with industry partners to ensure that developed solutions align with real-world applications and requirements.

Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine research prototypes for successful industry adoption.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience
• Strong foundation in mathematical modeling, algorithm design, and scientific computing.
• Expertise in simulations (discrete-event, agent-based) and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and optimization libraries (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX).
• Experience in data structures, algorithm development, and software development best practices.
• Prior experience in operational optimization, such as fleet management, scheduling, or network design, is highly preferred.
• Experience applying research in practical settings such as aerospace, logistics, energy, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies such as advanced robotics, automation, or smart manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct research in development of high-power density vanadium redox flow battery stack by designing flow fields, manifolds, material treatment etc.
• Design, model, simulate, test, and characterize vanadium redox flow battery stacks of various sizes.
• Perform material and electrochemical characterization (both in-situ and ex-situ techniques such as cell cycling, CV, EIS, segmented cell, polarization tests, pH tracing, spectroscopy, XRD, through plane/ in plane resistivity, etc.) to reduce the stack resistivity and improve the capability to operate at high current density.
• Project management including project planning, progress tracking, manage resources, and work together with interns, research staffs and international collaborators.
• Develop IPs and Publish in high quality journals.

The work requires an in-depth understanding of electrochemistry of flow batteries, simulation/modelling skills, material fabrication, material characterization tools, and engineering integration of various components of vanadium redox flow battery stacks. The candidate should be able to work on dynamic, product-oriented group and manage the multiple tasks independently. Job Requirements

• Bachelor, Master’s Degree or PhD in Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or relevant faculty.
• Knowledge about solar/photovoltaic (PV), wind, or fuel cell power generation systems.
• Knowledge of microgrid systems and their interactions with distribution systems.
• Experience in hardware-in-loop modeling and simulations.
• Knowledge of different microgrid control architectures, different control modes of inverter-based resources, droop controls, consensus algorithms and their applications on microgrid load power sharing and voltage regulation.
• Experience in analyzing and modeling the dyanamics of a diversity of distributed energy and emerging grid resources (solar, wind turbine, small hydros, microturbines, energy storage, electric vehicle charging, power flow controller, etc.)
• Ability to provide engineering specifications and electrical drawings, to conduct field testing and troubleshooting.
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards, and government regulations.
