What will you do?

• Manage the development of the internal engineering productivity tools and environments.
• Providing DevOps architecture implementation and operational support
• Architecture and planning for cloud deployments (Private and Public cloud);
• Be an innovative and hands-on DevOps engineer capable of looking at both the technology and strategy around the platform.
• Future-proofing the technical environments and ensuring extremely high levels of automation, availability, scalability and resilience.
• Manage the development of the internal engineering productivity tools and environments.
• Manage processes, automation, best practices, documentation.
• Development and operation of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Monitoring automation to effectively detect/predict/prevent issues in the environment and code base.
• Ability to conduct research into software issues and products as required
• Working with the latest tools and techniques
• Hands-on coding and mentoring, usually in a pair programming environment
• Working in highly collaborative teams and building quality environments.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast paced, global environment
• Knowledge in lots of different open source technologies and configurations.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology,
• Communications or other related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Devops automation, containerisation and orchestration using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and Docker
• Strong scripting skills e.g. Python, Bash, JavaScript
• Cloud computing deployment and management experience – AWS, Azure
• Understand/practice Agile projects
• Strong understanding of networking
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Preferred:

• Experience with highly scalable distributed systems
• Breadth of knowledge - OS, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing

Job Description:

• Responsible to configure, setup, design process sequences, troubleshoot, and fine-tune processes on projects using FASA applications or help to develop them.
• Responsible for carry-out machine on-site setup and buy-off process.
• Act as a lead for core efforts such as setup, troubleshooting, and buy-off project using established procedures.
• Contribute to documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in semiconductor process and engineering knowledge with a demonstrated understanding of troubleshooting at a high level.
• Experience as a team or project lead.
• Advance understanding of software configuration, machine system architecture, maintenance, repair and debug.
• Intermediate level of Omron PLC, Mitsubishi PLC, Siemens PLC, Allen-Bradley PLC, and Keyence PLC systems, including installation, setup, systems administration, troubleshooting, and fine-tune.
• Intermediate level with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Ladder Diagrams, Functional Block Diagram, Structured Text, and Statement List.
• Knowing how to communicate between PLCs and with other devices by RS232/TCPIP/Modbus/
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact appropriately with users of various technical-skilled levels and to remain professional while working to resolve problems.

• Assist in research to advance the science and technology of artificial intelligence. Assist the chief Engineer to work towards long-term ambitious research goals, while identifying intermediate milestones for the Company
• Works with cross-discipline teams to ensure connectivity between various data sources and business problems.
• Assist in developing algorithms and analytical techniques to improve business performance and revenue.
• Maintains awareness of emerging analytics and big-data technologies.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in relevant research, industrial experience required. Msc / degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
• Deep insight in machine learning and deep learning.
• Solid application background, especially in machine learning techniques with computer vision, natural language processing, recommendation system.
• Excellent programming skills in Python/C++.
• Experience with one or more deep learning libraries and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc).
• Strong system-building and management skills and keen interests in working with emerging technologies and frameworks.
• Good communications skill in both written and verbal English.
