-To Project management Coordinate with main-con and consultant for drawing submission, material sample submission and meeting with main-con and consultant

-Select appropriate electrical materials to complete designs such as MSB, Distribution lighting fixtures, cable tray layout, lighting and receptade layout, single line diagrams, CCTV, data Telcom operational routing diagram, ELV systems, control schematic and writing diagrams

-Identify discrepancies in tender/contract/IFC drawings and raise queries for clarification, A and A ( R and R) + Constriction Filed

- Attend all operational matters related to the daily running of the project and Handle multiple projects simultaneously

-Testing and commissioning for Electrical apparatus

-QA/QC documentation review of engineering deliverables

-LV and HV cables sizing calculations and prepare a bill of material

-Planning workforce arrangement and supervision and working planning

-Giving progress reports regularly to teams and monitoring project schedules

-Prepare Electrical shop and As-builts SLD Rcp drawing

• Taking complete ownership of the electrical and automation package of specialized process system projects for a variety of industries (automotive, painting, coating, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical etc.)
• Supporting the project manager with in depth and detail knowledge of electrical and process (machine) automation knowledge, being part of a multi-disciplinary project team
• Control panel and circuit diagram design
• PLC and HMI programming based on process descriptions
• Review and approve electrical design documentation, specifications, prepare RFQ and evaluate bids.
• Evaluate design calculations, specifications and select system components / cable schedules, PLC components and instrumentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, partners, vendors and other teams for project tendering.
• Liaise with external vendors / suppliers for materials purchasing, installation, testing (FAT’s) and commissioning requirements.
• Support the project team during installation, testing and commissioning stage by preparing installation work packages and provide on-site support.
• Equipment Design (control cabinets, power feeds, grounding systems, low voltage controls)
• Installation & Assembly of Electrical Systems (on site supervisor responsibility)
• Perform on-site commissioning works of plc-based control systems and machineries
• Project Management, scheduling, cost control, customer change requests, estimating material + labour.
• Equipment improvement troubleshooting & maintenance.
• Test, debug, support, troubleshooting of equipment installation and assembly.
• Ensuring that installation and operations are conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.

Minimum requirements (must be met to be considered):

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in plc based industrial / process automation a must

• Control panel layout drawings incl. BOM

• Document preparation preferred in “ePlan P8”

• Effective communication skills, presentation skills, self-motivated and can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to perform regular field assignments (system commissioning), 30-50% travelling.

Responsibilities:

 Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.

 Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/ authorities.

 Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries.

 Lead in preparing tender documentations.

 Participate in the tendering of projects.

 Participate in the successful delivery of projects.

 Training and mentoring juniors.

 Design management, coordination and project control on major projects.

 Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).

 A minimum of 5 years of design experience.

 Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures

 Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills

 Have good knowledge of common structural design software.

 Working experience in engineering design consulting practice on building, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects (underground/basement/elevated structures, tunnel structures and MRT station structures)

 Good project management skills and strong analytical skills

 Able to work under pressure with good time management skill

Geotechnical:

 Experienced in the design and design management of major earth retaining and stabilizing structures, deep foundations, reclamations, ground improvements, slope stabilities.

 Familiar with the preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports.

 Experienced with the geotechnical impact assessment of structures and instrumentations.

 Familiar with the application of geotechnical FEM software.
