JOB DESCRIPTION
l Prepare basic design document including system study report, heat balance, piping and instrument diagram, equipment data sheet, etc. of power plant
l Independently handle kinds of Package equipment ; GTG(gas turbine generator), STG(steam turbine generator), boiler, HRSG(heat recovery steam generator), water treatment package, wastewater treatment package, surface condenser, nitrogen generator unit, cooling tower, chemical dosing unit, etc.
l Take the lead in the preparation of inquiry packages, in the technical clarification/evaluation of Vendor’s technical offers, and in the kick-off meeting/pre-inspection meeting with an inter-discipline collaboration.
l Prepare technical specifications including package equipment data sheets, detail design documentation & Inspection/Procedure documentation requests for Package equipment as shown the above.
l Prepare technical bid evaluation and clarification with Vendors for technical confirmation for package equipment as show the above.
l Review of the vendor packages and follow up on the required approvals.
l Prepare interface list for package and client requirements
l Follow up of all engineering issues for module engineering and close any outstanding issues as promptly as possible.
l Review / approve vendor documents in line with client / contractor’s requirements.
l Attend project meeting / follow up meeting with vendors, client, third party etc.
l Witness factory acceptance tests (FATs) along with client / contractor’s requirements.
l Assist construction team during module fabrication, equipment installation, and assist the pre-commissioning and commissioning team during yard testing.
l Assist procurement team as required during the ordering stage.
l Have skill of combined cycle system analysis software (GT pro. and Master) and calculation program of steam/water condition (steam calc.)
l Have skill of DX tools such as data analysis software (Grafana and Tableau), document search software (Goldfire), Microsoft 365 and document revision analysis (Middle)
l Have made programs and been used inter discipline, e.g., combustion calc., acid due point calc., HRSG and condenser heating surface calc., chemical dosing calc., piping pressure drop calc., coal characteristic analysis, etc.
Have experience as a lead engineer more than 35 years for large scale project for oil & gas project, petrochemical project and refinery project each project with more than 3,000 drawings.
l Have knowledge about applicable international codes such as ASTME, ASTM, EN, BS, VGB, ISO, IEC, NFPA, API, JIS, Gost and GB
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 8years of experience as Design Engineer in Mechanical Engineering of Oil & Gas Plant, Petrochemical and Refinery, and in Basic Engineering of Power Plant.
