ROLE PURPOSE (Why do we need this role?)

To attend to all purchasing requests promptly with the best price in order to provide operational and technical purchasing support to vessels and/or logistical support to 3rd party clients.

Operations Purchasing

• Deal with assigned vessels on a daily basis and liaising with accounts, purchasing, Technical and other relevant departments on operational requirements.Contact and follow up with vendors/contractors on quotations and issue purchase orders in ORBIS/SAP/In-house apps for services.
• Track TDW vessels shipments in/out of warehouse and coordinate with forwarding agents and transport companies for shipments delivery to shipyards/ jetty for vessels.
• Liaise with agents.
• Gather feedback from vessels on vendor’s performance and the quality of goods supplied.
• Check and verify invoices for spares/stores and services against Orbis/SAP/in-house app prior to submission to the Operations Manager for approval.
• Respond, prioritise and action as appropriate on urgent issues, phone calls and emails from the vessels and charterers.

General Warehouse Management

• Ensure that safe work practices, site safety rules, particularly regarding the use and operation of warehouse handling and lifting equipment, manual handling and equipment storage and protection and all Standard Operating procedures are strictly adhered to at all times in warehouse activities.
• Report on any non-conformance in warehouse operations, ensure corrective actions are taken and, where applicable, introduce into warehouse standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that correct working locations, from receipt through consolidation, shipping and storage, including floor, rack and bay loadings are developed, maintained and strictly adhered to in all warehouse activities.
• Maintain records and schedules for all required inspections and certifications on the facility’s operating equipment, forklifts and other lifting equipment, safety equipment, etc. and promptly remedy any issues arising during inspections.
• Perform condition maintenance on long-term storage materials as required.
• Perform routine facility and equipment housekeeping duties.

Other Duties

• Assist the General Manager/Technical Superintendents with administrative work when required.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time including follow-up on service request details.

Qualifications

Technology Delivery Lead

Design and architect data storage solutions, including databases, data lakes, and warehouses, using AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon DynamoDB, along with Databricks' Delta Lake. Integrate Informatica IDMC for metadata management and data cataloging.
Create, manage, and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data using AWS services like AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, and AWS Lambda, Databricks for advanced data processing, and Informatica IDMC for data integration and quality.

Integrate data from various sources, both internal and external, into AWS and Databricks environments, ensuring data consistency and quality, while leveraging Informatica IDMC for data integration, transformation, and governance.
Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich data, making it suitable for analytical purposes using Databricks' Spark capabilities and Informatica IDMC for data transformation and quality.
Monitor and optimize data processing and query performance in both AWS and Databricks environments, making necessary adjustments to meet performance and scalability requirements. Utilize Informatica IDMC for optimizing data workflows.
Implement security best practices and data encryption methods to protect sensitive data in both AWS and Databricks, while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Employ Informatica IDMC for data governance and compliance. Implement automation for routine tasks, such as data ingestion, transformation, and monitoring, using AWS services like AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, Databricks Jobs, and Informatica IDMC for workflow automation.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data infrastructure, pipelines, and configurations in both AWS and Databricks environments, with metadata management facilitated by Informatica IDMC.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions across AWS, Databricks, and Informatica IDMC.
Identify and resolve data-related issues and provide support to ensure data availability and integrity in both AWS, Databricks, and Informatica IDMC environments.
Optimize AWS, Databricks, and Informatica resource usage to control costs while meeting performance and scalability requirements.
Stay up-to-date with AWS, Databricks, Informatica IDMC services, and data engineering best practices to recommend and implement new technologies and techniques.


Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or
a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in
AWS services, Databricks, and/or Informatica IDMC.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
for building data pipelines.
Evaluate potential technical solutions and make recommendations to
resolve data issues especially on performance assessment for complex
data transformations and long running data processes.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS
Certified Data Analytics - Specialty), Databricks certifications, and
Informatica certifications are a plus

The Customer Service Team Lead (or Manager) is responsible for overseeing the order management process and ensuring exemplary customer service delivery. This role entails managing a team of order management representatives, coordinating with various departments to streamline order processing, manage periodic reporting requirement and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on support and ownership of full order-to-cash function for customers across Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Pakistan for a start, but not limited to.

Lead and manage the order management team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality customer service. Hands-on approach is necessary.

Develop and implement order management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy, especially in areas of managing letters of credit.

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and issues related to order processing/fulfilment.

Collaborate with sales people, inventory team, production plants, external logistics partners, system support to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.

Review and refresh key performance indicators (KPIs) on internal team and external partners.

Consider learning and development opportunities for team members, together with recommending changes for continuous improvement.

Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements in order processing.

Job Requirement:

Degree/Professional certificate in a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in customer service or order management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong understanding of order management systems (SAP R3 (ECC) or S4 Hana) and processes

Good working knowledge in the negotiation of Letters of Credit for countries, as well as other payment terms such as D/P, D/A, etc.
