The Lead Cost Controller is responsible for managing and controlling the project’s financial performance for the Offshore Substation project. Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and in ensuring timely and accurate processing of trading/settlement, funds handling, reconciliation, corporate action events/dividend payments
• Close monitoring of client subscriptions, redemptions and fund action timelines
• Liaise with external trustee, issuers and investors on operational queries and corporate actions
• Undertake checker role in the KYC/onboarding process and liaise with Compliance team to ensure AML/CFT requirements are adhered to
• Comply with all procedures and ensure proper documentation
• Evaluate and streamline existing processes to ensure efficiency and adequate controls
• Liaise with Finance team on fees chargeable for investors and issuers
• Liaise with third party vendors in areas relating to custody and secondary market operations
• Support the implementation of new projects, systems or business initiatives from operational perspective/ system enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the custody sector in a regulated entity
• Knowledge of the Securities & Futures Act, its relevant notices and guidelines
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with local and international clients.
• Meticulous personality with a proactive approach to operations and execution.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and improve processes.

Role and Responsibilities

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Data & BI Lead to join our ERP Team on a 2-Year Contract basis. This person will report to Technology Director and is a subject matter expert and data champion, with previous experience and accountability of delivering scalable solutions and enterprise data models across business applications, reporting and analytics domains.

This individual will work closely with the Enterprise Architect, BI Analysts, Application and Data owners, taking ownership of the global data design and modelling activities in establishing robust dictionaries, data integration documentation, migration mapping, master and reference data landscapes within the existing architecture and transformational initiatives.

To be successful in this role the candidate will have the required technical experience coupled with appropriate project management experience to drive deliverables of data related projects. Further, the role requires active engagement with and management of 3rd party vendors to deliver projects as well as experience in managing internal stakeholders up to executive management level.

Key Skills & Qualifications Requirements

• Degree in IT, MIS, Data Science or Certification in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture or related field
• A broad understanding of data environments, technologies, BI stacks, ETL and data visualization tools e.g. SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI, MDM experience
• Experience using and implementing hi-performing global data warehouses, data marts using MS Azure data components e.g. Data Factory, Azure Data Lake
• Proven experience in delivering end-to-end cloud data platform solutions using modern agile methodologies, data pipelines, serverless orchestration and CI/CD development processes
• Handed at least one major data modernizations engagement or been part of data transformation journey within an Enterprise.
• Experience operating with an engineering, agile and DevOps mindset
• Extensive experience of successfully and confidently engaging with senior stakeholders and being able to translate the key business drivers and requirements into Data Models and Solution Design
