POSITION SUMMARY

• Ensure that the procurement process adheres to Company and Client requirements, Company policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate and manage associated supply chain risks and disruptions.
• Develop and maintain a commercially sound supplier list, survey the market for new supply sources including non-traditional ones, and maintain the project “Approved Supplier List.”
• Build, manage, and develop relationships and partnerships with suppliers and contractors.
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier issues which has been escalated and/or advise the assigned plant as appropriate.
• Ensure that monthly procurement reports and cost-saving/cost-avoidance statistics are consolidated and reported on time to the Procurement Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent business studies with more than 3 years of procurement experience, particularly with experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects or Plant Operations & Maintenance environment, tenders and sub-contracting.

Role Overview:

As the Associate Director for Supply Chain Technology, you will serve as a key deputy to the Director of Technology and Innovation, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for our supply chain technology initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology roadmap, ensuring seamless integration of WMS, TMS, and other critical systems, and driving continuous improvement to optimize performance and efficiency. In addition, you will collaborate closely with cross- functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that support the digital transformation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams within the Department to implement and maintain supply chain technology solutions, including WMS, TMS and other relevant systems and guiding them towards the organization’s target operating model for connected technologies.
• Mentor and manage team members, ensuring that they are aligned with strategic objectives and equipped to support an integrated supply chain technology ecosystem.
• Develop and communicate a comprehensive technology roadmap for all supply chain technology systems, identifying and prioritizing initiatives to meet business needs.

Operational Excellence and Governance

• Act as the primary point of contact for all supply chain technology systems, representing the product function in executive and cross-functional meetings.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis, with experience developing optimized queries and using analytics to inform product decisions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Transport Management and warehouse management platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder) and various key features, solutions to derive key business value is highly preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Product Management or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
