We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure a consistently positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations, including staff management, training, and maintaining high food standards. They will also be responsible for developing a positive brand image through excellent customer service and a strong understanding of restaurant protocol. We are looking for a professional with a positive attitude who is passionate about contributing to the growth and success of our restaurant and its employees. The successful candidate will have a consistent work history and a proven ability to lead and contribute as an individual contributor.
Objectives of this role
· Oversee restaurant operations and ensure a smooth flow
· Maintain a positive restaurant culture
· Create work schedules that align with the restaurant’s needs
· Ensure proper compliance with restaurant hygiene regulations
· Train new employees to help them meet the restaurant’s expectations
· Interact with diners and build positive rapport with different types of people
Responsibilities
· Manage and keep up smooth restaurant operations
· Assist in hiring, screening, interview, and shortlisting.
· Supervise both kitchen and Service members, providing necessary feedback and advice.
· Grievances handling, member counselling, and support members' wellness
· Write daily budget reports on both revenue and costs
· Communicate with diners and mitigate potential conflicts
· Organize and take stock of restaurant supplies
· Maintain and monitor weekly and monthly payroll for Part-time members.
· Ability to control manpower costs within the budget for each outlet.
Skills and qualifications
· Proven relevant work experience in a restaurant setting
· Demonstrated customer service skills
· Understanding of financial, Marketing, and HR management
· Strong knowledge of restaurant management software
· IT Savvy.
· Proficiency in English and Mandarin (able to communicate with Chinese Guests/team members).
· Ability to memorize and explain the restaurant’s menu
· Willingness to work flexible hours as and when needed.
- Willing to run both outlets (Millenia Walk and Star Vista).
Work Arrangement: 5 days per week (2 days off but not fixed)
Working hours between 10.30 am and 10.00 pm
Sun& Mon ends at 9.00 pm. Tue to Sat ends at 9.30 pm or before 10.00 pm
Break time 1.5 hours (Millenia Walk) and 2 hours (Star Vista)
