Project Management

• Develop and plan a project timeline to monitor new or additional customer deployment requirement in the data centre
• Update, track and report on the project plan to relevant stakeholders (internal / external)
• Create a bill of materials and breakdown work scope and specifications to implement customer requirements

Vendor Management

• Manage and build relationship with material vendors and contractors
• Liaise and manage such 3rd parties services to ensure completion of work and seek resolutions on work performed for the deployment projects
• Track and monitor vendor performance against contract agreement and SLAs

Local Support

• Support Data Centre Managers and Operations in deployment projects work
• Lead in issue resolution, expedite delay orders and facilitate cross functional communications across all parties (operations, vendors, customers) involved in the projects and change requests
• Provide technology and process training for local teams
  Ensure vendors and contractors to provide trade and product specific training for local teams

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical
• 8 years of experience in data center operations, project management, or technical implementations in the deployment of mechanical / electrical fixtures and infrastructure in a data centre / telco environment
• Experience with third-party vendors, M & E contractors, and service providers for data center construction and operations.
• Manage cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and delivering projects to international clients.
• Expert knowledge of server racks, cages, electrical distribution and data cable infrastructure
• Knowledge of read and interpreting construction drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP)

• Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project, which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control
• Take actions to deal with the results of delay, bad weather or emergencies at construction site
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities in resolving site issues
• Effectively applies safe and economical methodology enforces project standards
• Minimum 10 years' construction experience in project/site management in construction industry
• Must have working experiences in site construction management.
• Completed relevant safety courses required by MOM
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit

Possess Minimum Electrical Engineering Diploma/Degree. Able to Troubleshoot control panel with Variable Frequency Drive, Motor Starters, Softstarters, Servo motors, Stepper Motor, Programmer Logic Controller, Human Machine Interface (HMI) . Able to use your hand to construct and wire a Control Panel. Able to lead/ supervise a team of technicians to do the above. Able to train and impart knowledge and practical skills to Junior Technicians on the above type of control panel.

Knowledge of Electrical Drafting software and design control panel with the above devices. Knowledge of PLC programming and able to work with programmers to design electrical control systems.

Knowledgeable with most mechanical devices like pumps, fans, actuators, solenoid, hydraulic cylinders, motors, servo motors, stepper motors, gears etc. Able to handle most repairs and parts replacement for these devices and lead/supervise and instruct junior technicians with practical knowledge and also physically carry out this repair/replacement/overhaul.

Have practical knowledge of welding and fitting and able to lead/supervise and instruct junior technicians to carry out fabrication work. Fabrication work with welding require the welds to have Non Destructive Test like Magnetic Paticle Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing and candidate must be familar with test and have certifcate for this process
