About the role

• Maintain, proofread, and assist in the preparation of the agreements i.e., non-disclosure agreements, major construction tenders, professional service agreements and standard industry forms of contract such as REDAS, PSSCOC, PAM, AIAC, FIDIC including appropriate risk mitigation;
• Review external providers (i.e vendors and subcontractors) terms of service and project deliverables.
• Provides contractual advisory from the commercial perspective to the project through all stages: construction, subcontracting, completion and hand-over,
• Provides support to the Quantity Surveyor team in the project, monitoring, reporting, planning and coordinating all aspects of their work.
• Proactively engages in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, systems and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
• Advises on all contractual correspondence related to the project, considering commercial impact.
• Identify, assess and manage / advise on contractual risk
• Manages contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution
• Communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders both verbally and in written notices eg. extension-of-time (EOT) , change order, etc.
• Possesses knowledge in construction/contract law & different standard forms of contracts eg. PSSCOC, SIA, LTA, REDAS, FIDIC, NEC, etc.
• Possesses leadership skills to manage internal and external stakeholders, thinks strategically and critically, exercising judgement after consideration for all aspects.
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree related to Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in comparable role, i.e., contract management, dispute resolution, arbitration and administration in particular to construction industry preferable with MRT LTA Project.
• Strong contract administration and negotiation skills in a variety of different agreement types;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop close working relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts at all levels;
• Demonstrated the ability to maintain problem-solving approach in collaboration with internal and external contacts;
• Demonstrated presentation skills; Strong organizational skills; able to organize and follow through with projects; ability to efficiently handle large volume of contracts;

Role Description

The Sales Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Sales, is responsible for recruiting, managing, and developing a high-performing team within your region that oversees the monthly transaction of assets exceeding $30 million. Your highest priority will be to exceed monthly revenue targets while delivering exceptional client service.

Your team will include our Real Estate Consultants, who are at the heart of our business. Supported by state-of-the-art technological tools, each Real Estate Consultant is a star in the industry, transacting 25x more properties than the average property agent every year.

In order to deliver results on a consistent basis, you will need to ensure close collaboration with teams across the company including Product, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, and Inside Sales to ensure a high volume of deals entering your pipeline are each handled with urgency and the highest level of professionalism.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master's degree;
• 2+ years’ experience working in a high-performing sales organization focused on generating new sales (not renewals!);
• 2+ years experience operating in a structured sales organization as exhibited by structured deal management by lead/deal stages AND use of analytics and CRM tools to manage forecasts, pipeline activities, or territory planning;
• 1+ years’ experience in managing a high-performance team;
