We are seeking a motivated and positive Operations Manager to join our dynamic and fast- growing team. The Operations Manager ensures seamless operations of the catering service by overseeing daily activities, managing resources, coordinating teams, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in optimizing processes, managing costs, and ensuring the company’s operational goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations across kitchen, logistics, and service teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of catering orders and adherence to service commitments.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to maximize productivity.
• Monitor inventory and manage procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies.

2. Team Leadership and Coordination:

• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, catering crew, delivery drivers, and support teams.
• Provide leadership, training, and motivation to ensure high performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review operations and resolve issues.
• Address and resolve operational conflicts or challenges effectively.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes.

4. Customer Service:

• Liaise with the sales and customer success teams to understand client requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality catering experiences.
• Handle escalated customer complaints or service issues promptly.

5. Financial and Resource Management:

• Manage budgets and control operational costs to meet financial goals.
• Analyze operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Schedule and allocate resources effectively to meet business demands.

6. Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, technology, and service delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in catering or food service.
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, food safety standards, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in operational software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of governmental policies, regulations, and standards.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Experience managing project budgets and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience in identifying issues, analyzing risks, and implementing solutions.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adjust to changing public sector priorities.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within government or non-profit organizations.

• Familiar with all the documents submission to relevant government authorities
• Laise with consultants and/ or sub-contractors engaged on the project
• Attend regular meeetings with client/ owner/ contractors/ sub-contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule
• Identify and comply with all applicaable statuary/ regulatory requirements related to project
• Communication to external parties including client, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, etc on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight
• Plan the work schedule and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines
• Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of projects, including developing and coodinating activities with other sub-contractors
• Able to read shopdrawings

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) recognised by PE Board or equivalent
• At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients
• Overseeing all kitchen operations
• Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required
• Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items
• Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock
• Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh
• Keeping up to date with industry trends
• Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary

Responsibilities:

Manages assigned product portfolio and generate new sales to achieve revenue, target and budget.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge of sales product.

Build strategic relationship with product vendors and partners to provide solutions to partners and end users.

Conduct and assess market and competitive analysis to develop efficient business strategy and generate higher Sales Revenue.

Develops product concept and provide a unique value based on the requirements of clients.

Clearly articulate and present the business value of the product to business partners.

Prepare and conduct periodic product updates and enablement for Channel Partners.

Provides Business and Revenue Forecast, including periodic reviews with relevant product vendors on business and sales activities.

Develops marketing strategies or programmes by collaborating with Marketing Team.

Obtains Bill of Material and pricing by working with presales team on product solution.

Facilitates inventory turnover / management / control by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels.

Candidate requirements:

Diploma/Degree with minimum 2 to 5 years of product management experience, preferred from security/electronic/IT industry.

Knowledge and understanding of supply, product and vendor management

Proven contract negotiation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Able to work in a face paced environment.
