Job description

In your new role you will:

• Accountable for your category sourcing activities. Lead negotiation in prices, contractual terms and conditions of running business and manage contracts with the supplier as well as support outsourcing projects for new business together with Business Development
• Manage the packages in your category for competitive pricing and work closely with the key stakeholders to create a competitive, scalable and resilient network.
• Work with suppliers to create more value and capture a good share of that value for Infineon by using data analysis tools, negotiation techniques and a structured negotiation
• Monitor and improve operational performance together with the segment as well as manage supply risks and ensure capacity provision and standards
• Be responsible for the supplier relationship management – including defining and controlling the communication and driving necessary business related escalations
• Ensure accurate and smooth procurement operations and setup and ensure supplier enabling
• Develop and execute category strategy and tactics within the overall OSAT Procurement category strategy

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Procurement or a Sales & Marketing function
• Degree in Business Management with technical focus on Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar program
• Functional expertise in procurement knowledge and negotiation skills in addition to general knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics, contract management, and quality management
• Effectively communicate and successfully manage relationships both with external and internal stakeholders
• A good understanding of semiconductor production, preferably backend, and have an affinity for technology
• Excellent communication skills, well versed in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Willing to travel worldwide 15% of the time
• Trustworthy and perform with integrity in company values
